Spellbinders GOM NOV-2020┃Merry Christmas Wishes Inspiration Cards

Happy Sunday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share with you this set of “Merry Christmas” card inspiration made using the just released “Merry Christmas Wishes” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado, let’s jump into the step-by-step on how I made them ↓

To begin with, as per usual with every hot foil kit of the month, I started by setting up on my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine then, I turned on the glimmer hot foil platform. Therefore, while the platform was heating up, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass using a sharp pair of scissors. So, after the glimmer hot foil platform was ready to foil, I’ve gone ahead to line up over a white card panel the glimmer plate included in this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club along with the foil piece which I’ve had previously cut with the scissors.

Moving on, after I’ve had finished lining up the pieces, I’ve gone ahead to get the foiling done and once I’ve had finished that step, I’ve gone ahead to line up over the edge of the foiled image the coordinated die included in the kit and, I’ve gone ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Lastly, to assemble the card, I’ve gone ahead to trim the edges off from one of the patterned paper sheets included in NOV-2020 Card Kit of the Month and once I’ve had that done, I’ve gone ahead to adhere it with double-sided tape over an A2 textured white card base. Next, I’ve gone ahead to mount the die-cutting foiled piece over the card base whit foam mounting tape to add dimension. Finally, to finish the card off, I’ve gone ahead to adhere a die cut shape piece (as shown in the image above) and last but not least, I’ve gone ahead to mount the large and small sentiment which I’ve had previously foiled over white cardstock. By the way, both sentiments are included in this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit.

The next example was basically an experiments as, I’ve never foil over thin paper.

So therefore, I’ve selected one of the patterned papers from the same paper pad and then, I’ve gone ahead to get each foil image using the same glimmer plates in the same way as I’ve used them in the previous example. I’m aware of that it could be a bit hard to catch the full effect of the ghost foiling effect in picture but, I promise you in real life worth the try.

Thus, after I’ve had finished the foiling over the patterned paper, I’ve gone ahead to trim the edges off and I’ve gotten it adhere with double-sided tape to a slightly larger gold card panel. Lastly, I’ve gone ahead to mount the card panel with craft foam tape to an A2 textured white card base adding that way a bit of dimension.

To finish the cards off, I’ve gone ahead to glue down with liquid glue gold sequins just to one of the cards and with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step on how I’ve created this set of “Merry Christmas” card inspiration made with the just released “Merry Christmas Wishes” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders.
