Spellbinders AUG-2021 CSOM ┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a set of “Floral” inspiration cards made using “Hex Tile Stamps” AUG-2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit which pairs perfectly with this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit, Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and Large Die of the Month Club Kit all by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made them ↓

Therefore, this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit includes a large floral cluster stamp image, so I went ahead to start off by placing down a large piece of white card panel inside my MISTI Stamping Tool, and once I had the cardstock piece onto place, I proceeded to line up the floral cluster over one of the cardstock corners and then, I’ve quickly proceeded to get it stamped 4 times on each corner of the cardstock piece using Detail Black Ink.

Thus, as soon as the stamping was completed for the outlined floral cluster images, I went ahead to stamp the filler images to add a pop of color to the floral clusters using a combination of pinks, oranges, yellows, greens, and aqua hues. Having that said, once the filler stamp images for each outline flower and leaves were done, I’ve gone ahead to carefully fussy-cut out each floral cluster from the cardstock piece using a small pair of scissors and once I had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to set them off aside. Meanwhile, I went ahead to trim off a white card panel a bit smaller that the card base using my Comfort Paper Trimmer and once that step was done, I’ve gone ahead to adhere the backing of it with craft foam adhesive to an A2 top folding white card base. Lastly, I went ahead to get the embellishment for the front card panel by mounting each floral cluster with square foam adhesives adding that way some dimension on each corner of it, and then to finish the card off, I’ve got stamped a sentiment in the center of the card using black ink (as shown in the image above.)

This month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit works perfectly with one of the floral cluster hot foil plates including in this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club. Therefore, I went ahead to get the hot foil stamping done over a piece of white cardstock using as I mentioned earlier one of the hot foil plates including in this month’s GOM along with Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform, Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass. Once, the hot foil stamping was done, I went ahead to add a pop of color to the floral cluster using the stamp filler images in the same way as I did in the first example with the only difference that I’ve gotten them stamped over the hot foil stamping images this time.

Thus, as soon as the stamping process was completed, I went ahead to fussy-cut out the floral cluster from the cardstock piece and then, I’ve got it mounted over the mini and detailed slimline front card panel (as shown in the image above.) A front card panel, which I’ve had previously created using the dies including in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit. And, then I finished the mini slimline card by mounting the card sentiment, which I’ve gotten previously stamped and gold heat embossing over one of the die-cutting pieces using one of the sentiments including in the stamp set.

For the last example, I created a full-size slimline greeting card, so therefore, I went ahead to create a slimline white card base along with its detailed die-cutting front card panel using the dies including in this month’s Large Die of the Month Club Kit. Thus, as soon as I had finished die-cutting the detailed front card panel, I quickly went ahead to mount it down over to the card base, and then I proceeded to get the embellishment for the card started.

As for the card embellishment, I went ahead to mount with square foam adhesives two floral clusters on the upper right and lower left corners of the detailed front card panel. Floral clusters, which I’ve had previously created in the same way as I did for the previous examples. Last but not least, I’ve got mounted a sentiment as well in the center of the card. A sentiment, which I’ve had gotten stamped with black ink as well over a die-cutting piece.

Finally, after finishing all 3 examples using this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit along with the other club kits, I went ahead to add a touch of sparkle to them by gluing down here and there some crystal sequins and jewels. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of “Floral” inspiration cards using this month’s club kits by Spellbinders.
