Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a very delicate “Floral” inspiration card made with a combination of “Hex Floral” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and “Hex Kaleidoscope Tile” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
Therefore, this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club includes 2 beautiful floral cluster glimmer hot plates along with a sentiment and a hexagon glimmer hot foil plate. So, having that said, as usual I started off by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. And, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform, and while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock both floral cluster glimmer hot plates including in the kit.
Thus, as soon as I had the glimmer plates line up over the white cardstock piece, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass using the Quick Trimmer. And, once the glimmer hot foil platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get the foil stamping done over the white cardstock piece by running the platform through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.
So, as soon as I had the foil stamping completed for both floral cluster, I went ahead to proceed to get the foil stamping done for the hexagon and the sentiment in the same piece of white cardstock. A sentiment, which by the way, it’s been designed to fit inside the hexagon frame (as you can see in the image above.)
Moving on, after I’ve had finished the foil stamping, I quickly gone ahead to add a pop of color to the flowers and leaves with a combination of warm color using my alcohol Copic markers in the following hues R11, R22, R32, R43, YR16, Y38, YG25, G94, BG11 and BG23. Having that said, as soon as I’ve had finished color the flowers and leaves in, I’ve gone ahead to fussy-cut out the floral cluster from the cardstock piece and then, I set them off aside.
Meanwhile, I went ahead to create the front card panel by die-cutting 2 hexagon tile frames along with the kaleidoscope inserts and a few extra die-cutting pieces. By the way, I created all die-cutting pieces by using the dies including in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit. Therefore, once I’ve had finished die-cutting all pieces, I went ahead to create the front card panel by adhering down each of them over an A2 size side folding white card base using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, and once I had finished doing that I quickly went ahead to mount over it the floral clusters along with the card sentiment.
Last but not least, I went ahead to finish the card off by adhering down here and there some of the Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems to add an extra pop of shine! And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this very delicate “Floral” inspiration card using a combination of “Hex Floral” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and “Hex Kaleidoscope Tile” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
