Grateful For You, Fancy Floral Ephemera┃Inspiration Card

Happy Saturday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share a clean and simple inspiration card with a “Floral and Dimensional” look using the just-released Fancy Floral Ephemera Pack, Dotted Chevron Coverplate Die, Thanks for Being There Stamp, Thanks for Being There Die, Fall Leaf Die, and Foliage Shaker Die. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

Therefore, I started by doing the dotted die-cutting step over a white card panel. So, to do that, I used the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine alongside A2-size white card panel and the Dotted Chevron Coverplate Die

Thus, after completing the die-cutting step, I used the Paper Trimmer to get the dotted chevron panel trimming down to H 5.0 x W 3-3/4 inches. As soon as I trimmed the dotted chevron panel down, I put it aside to cut down two pieces of white cardstock to H 4.0 x W 1.0 inches. Next, after getting those two pieces of cardstock trimmed down, I placed each of them over the Scor-Buddy Eighths to trace a scoring line over them using the Teflon bone folder at the 1/2-inch point mark. Followed by that, I folded them over, and then I got the upper side of the folded piece glued to the backside of the dotted chevron panel, making sure the openings were facing inwards.

Then, right after I got those two pieces glued to the backside of the dotted chevron panel, I lined the panel over an A2-size Kraft foam top folding card base to get the lower sides of the folding pieces glued to the front card flap.

Next, put the card base aside to select one of the floral images from the Fancy Floral Ephemera. And to get some leaves die-cut out of green cardstock using the die included in Fall Leaf Die and both dies outlined metal dies included in the Foliage Shaker Die

Soon after, to keep going with the card layout assembling, I brought back the card base to my craft table, and then I created over the dotted chevron panel a dimensional floral cluster using the die-cutting leaves and the die-cut shape that I selected from the ephemera pack. Lastly, to add dimension, I used Glossy Accent to add shiny dimensional effects to the center of the flowers.

Finally, to finish the card, I used one of the sentiments from the Thanks for Being There Stamp to get the card sentiment stamped and gold heat embossed over a piece of white cardstock. Then, I used the coordinating die included in the Thanks for Being There Die to get the sentiment cut out from the white cardstock piece and to add dimension by getting extra die-cutting pieces staked together.

And, with that said, thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed reading the step-by-step how I’ve made this clean and simple inspiration card with a “Floral and Dimensional” look using an array of beautiful products by  Pinkfresh Studio.
