Love You, Greeting Card

Love You, Greeting Card

Happy Wednesday, Crafters! Today, I’d like to share with you this Love You greeting card that, I’ve created featuring my currently favorite Ink Bending color combination using; Ink pads from The Stamp Market along with Stamp Sets from Simon Says Stamp, and last but certainly not least, Embossing Powders by WOW! Embossing Powder. So, without further ado, let’s jump into the blog post ↓

To begin with I started by ink blending with my TE Blender Brushes an A2 Strathmore Bristol Smooth card panel with a combination of the following ink pads; Blush Pink Ink, Bubble Gum Ink, Peach Ink, Coral Reef Ink. As, you can see, I created a gradient look by ink blending the bottom of the card panel with the darkest and finishing the top with the lightest color. Once, the card panel was ink up, I set it aside to dry.

In the meantime, I heat embossed a white heart die-cutting that, I had on my stash from a previous project using; WOW! Embossing Ink and, WOW! White Pearl Embossing Powder to add dimension and shine. Right after when I was done heat setting the heart die-cutting, I came back to the inked background and, I placed the card panel on my stamping tool because, I was going to use the beautiful Heart to Heart Background Stamp. Once, both the background stamp and the card panel were in my stamping tool first; I treated the card panel with Embossing Powder Tool then, I stamped the pattern from the background stamp with embossing ink 2X for a precise stamping. Lastly, I covered the whole stamping area with the same white pear embossing powder that, I used for heart and I heat set the powder with my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool until the powder was melted.

Finally, to finish the card off, I trimmed the edges off from the card panel slightly smaller than the card base, and I foam mounted the card panel to an A2 size side folding white card base. Then, I foam mounted the heat embossed heart as well as the Love You sentiment right on top of it. As for the sentiment itself, I used the awesome Love and Valentines Word Mix 2 Stamp and Love and Valentines Word Mix 2 Die Sets! I’ve used this set before so, I skipped the process on how I created the sentiment but, if you want more details you can check by clicking ⇾ HERE to read the previous blog post. With that being said, I hope that this simple Love You card inspire you to give it a try! As always, I appreciate the time you take to read my blog posts.
