To begin with I started by treating an A2 size white card panel with Embossing Powder Tool because, I was going to glitter embossed the card panel using the Tumbling Hearts Stencil to create the background for the card. Once, I was done treating the card panel, I temporally adhered it upside down to the stencil using masking tape. Then, I flipped it over and I temporarily adhered the stencil to my crafting mat to avoid the stencil or the card panel to slide over since, I was going to press continuously my WOW! Embossing Ink Pad to create a sticky pattern for the glitter embossing to adhere.

Right after the stamping, I carefully removed the stencil from the card panel and I covered the stamping with Tangerine Dream embossing glitter by the way…(you can find this embossing glitter in the Sweet Treats Embossing Glitter Set) Right after when the stamping was completely covered with the embossing glitter, I heat set it with my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool until the powder was completely melted. Soon after that, I trimmed off the edges of the card panel slightly smaller, and I foam mounted the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base. Lastly, after the card base was done, I set it aside so I could create the focal point for the card.

As, for the focal point, I ran through the die-cutting machine the You Are Loved Die to die-cut the top layer out of white card stock and the shadow layer out vellum. Once, the die-cutting pieces were done, I gold heat embossed the top layer using Metallic Brass Embossing Powder and soon after the heat embossing, I stacked both layers and I adhered them to the card as you can see in the picture above. To finish the card off, I also adhered the hearts which by the way are also created by the same die and I covered them with glossy accents for a dimensional/shiny look. As a finishing touch, I adhered here and there some of the Heaven Sent Sparkly Mix and I covered some of the with more glossy accent for an extra touch of shine. So, that’s all for today friends, I hope that this simple yet, sparkly card inspire you to give the “Love/Valentine’s Day” challenge a try!
