You Are Amazing┃Slimline Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, friends! Today, I’d like to share with you this quick and easy “Leafy” Slimline card made with a combination of You Are Amazing Stamp Set, You Are Amazing Coordinating Stencil Set, Incredibly Grateful Stamp Set and Incredibly Grateful Coordinating Die Set by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado keep on reading the step-by-step for how I made it.

To begin with, I’ve started by placing a large piece of White cardstock inside my MISTI Stamping Tool. Next, I went ahead to line up over it the large leafy stamp image from You Are Amazing Stamp Set.

Therefore, once I’ve had them both line up, I went ahead to get the image stamp twice using Metropolis Ink. Thus, after I’ve had finished the stamping, I went ahead to remove the card panel from the stamping tool and then, I proceeded to line up the first stencil from You Are Amazing Coordinating Stencil Set. Once, I had the stencil onto place, I went ahead to start ink blending the leafy stamping using Misty Coast Ink.

So, right after that I’ve had finished the ink blending using the first stencil, I removed it and then, I went ahead to ink blend the rest of the leafy stamped image using the other 2 layering stencils from the set along with Rocky Slope Ink and Metropolis Ink. Therefore, once I’ve had the ink blending completed for the leafy stamped image, I went ahead to trim the edges off to W 8-1/8’’ x W 3-6/16’’ inches and, once I’ve had that step done, I went ahead to set it off to the side while I started the focal point for the card.

For the focal point of the card, I went ahead to stamp and gold heat emboss the floral frame from Incredibly Grateful Stamp Set over a large piece of translucent vellum. Therefore, once I’ve had the stamping and heat embossing for the floral frame, I went ahead to line up over it its coordinating die from Incredibly Grateful Coordinating Die Set and once I’ve had them both line up, I proceed to run them thru my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the frame out of the translucent vellum.

Lastly, to finish the focal point off, I went ahead to stamp and gold heat emboss a sentiment in the center of the floral frame and them I’ve started the assembling for the card. Thus, for the assembling I decided to add a bit of dimension so to do that, I went ahead to carefully line up the die that die-cut the center of the floral frame die to die-cut the center of the frame but, this time out of the leafy inked card panel making sure of the placement since as I was going to use it as a guide to inlay back into place along with the gold heat embossed floral frame. Even though it’s not showing thru photography that simple step adds and extra dimensional touch, so the vellum doesn’t seem plain flat over the card panel.

Therefore, to finish the card off, I went ahead to adhere with double-sided tape the leafy card panel over a slimline white card base. Next, I went ahead to inlay back into place with craft foam tape the center of the leafy frame and last but not least, I went ahead to carefully glue down with liquid glue the floral frame (as shown in the image above) Finally, to finish the card off I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue here and there a few jewels to add a pop of shine!
