WOW! September-2020 Christmas Challenge┃ Tropical Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share a “Tropical Holiday Greetings” card that I’ve made for Sep-2020 “Christmas” challenge theme over at the WOW! Embossing Powders Facebook Page using WOW! Opaque Bright White and WOW! Metallic Gold Rich powders. With that being said, I also would like to invite you to come and play along with us for a chance to win a $15.00 or ₤15.00 gift card to WOW! US or WOW! UK online stores. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by placing a large piece of white cardstock inside my MISTI Stamping Tool then, once the card panel was onto place, I’ve gone ahead to get it prep using Embossing Powder Tool. Therefore, after I’ve had done that step, I’ve gone ahead to placed over the cardstock piece the outlined stamp images from the Festive Florals Stamp Set and, the right after I’ve had them onto placed, I’ve gone ahead to get them stamped with WOW! Embossing Pad.

So, after I’ve had done stamping the floral images, I’ve gone ahead to removed the stamped cardstock and I’ve gone ahead to get the stamped images gold heat emboss using WOW! Metallic Gold Rich and WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool. That said, after I’ve them heat embossed, I’ve gone ahead to repeat the same step but, this time instead of stamping the floral images, I’ve gotten the outlined images for the leaves, and same as the flowers after I was done stamping, I also went ahead to get them gold heat embossed.

Moving on, after I’ve had gold heat embossing the outlined leaves, I’ve gone ahead to place over an acrylic block the coordinated solid stamp images for each of the heat embossed images. Then right after that, I’ve gone ahead to stamp each images using a selection of Pink & Green Ink Pads. Lastly, after I’ve the stamping done, I’ve gone ahead to line up over each stamped image their coordinated die, and once they were lined up, I’ve gone ahead to run them though my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Therefore, after I’ve the floral die-cutting pieces done, I’ve gone ahead to finish the die-cutting process done by lining up over a large piece of white cardstock the diamond die from the Floral Diamond Bundle and the word dies from the Holiday Greetings Die Set. So, after I’ve the die-cutting elements done, I’ve gone ahead to white heat emboss a card panel using WOW! Opaque Bright White and Nested Diamond Cling Stamp, and once I’ve had it heat emboss, I’ve gone ahead to trim the edges down and I’ve got it adhered with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Thus, after I’ve had the card base done, I’ve gone ahead to create and adhere over the card base a floral cluster using the die-cutting flowers and leaves. Finally, after I’ve mounted the floral cluster, I’ve gone ahead to mount with craft foam and double-sided tape the white die-cutting diamond and last but not least, I’ve gone ahead to glue down with liquid glue the die-cutting sentiment which, I’ve had previously gold heat emboss and stack over its shadow layer which I’ve die-cut out of translucent vellum. As, finishing touches, I’ve gone ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue Crystal Confetti sequins to complete the sparkly holiday vibe. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created this “Tropical Holiday Greetings” inspiration card.
