To begin with, I started by tracing with a pencil a large circle with the help of the largest die from the Nestabilities Candlewick Circles Etched Dies Candlewick over a large piece of cardstock so, after I had that step done, I used a ruler and the pencil once again, to get a tracing line and divide the circle into 2. Therefore, once it was divided into 2, I went ahead and divide it into 4, and so and forth until I had it divided into 8 equally spaces.

So, right after I had the tracing done, I erased the lines but not completely as, I was going to use them as a guide for where to positioning the masking tape. To mask it up or cover it up;

  1. I placed a sticky note on each sides of the slice/wedge/triangle, you name it.

  2. I pressed down the WOW! Embossing Ink Pad to create a sticky surface.

  3. I removed the sticky notes from both sides, and I added the first embossing powder.

  4. I turned on my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool, and I heated set the powder until it completely melted.

And so on and so forth, I went ahead to continue heat embossing each section all the way around from the circle. Therefore, right after the heat embossing was complete, I lined up the circle die over the cardstock and I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Once, I had that done, I went ahead and I ran the die along with a large piece of white cardstock to get 2 more die-cutting white circles to create the card base and then, to continue the die-cutting process, I lined up the second and third-to-last dies from the set to die-cut a detailed white circle. And, last but not least, I lined up fourth and fifth-to-last circle dies to die-cut a detailed circle out of translucent vellum. At this point, all I had left was to die-cut the sentiment which in this case I used the Thanks die word. So, I went ahead and ran the shadow layer from the Thanks Die to die-cut it out of translucent vellum and its top layer out of gold cardstock. Thus, after I had the pieces complete, I started the assembling for the card.

For the assembling, I placed one of the white die-cutting circles over my scoring board and I marked a scoring line at 1/4 of an inch point. Then, I folded it in and adhered down the second die-cutting white circle over the marked line liquid glue to create a hinge so the card could open and close. Right after that, I mounted the translucent detailed circle and the white detailed circle with dimensional square adhesives to add lots of dimension, and lastly, to add a touch of gold, I loosely wrapped a large piece of metallic thread, and finally I finished the card off, by adhering the die-cutting thanks which I’ve had gotten stack already the layers. I couldn’t finish a card without adding a touch of sparkle so, I went ahead and I glued down here and there with liquid glue some jewels and pearls from the Crystal Collection - Tinkerbell mix.
