Spellbinders GOM JULY-2020┃Illustrative Floral Inspiration Cards

Happy Wednesday, Friends! I On today’s blog, I’ll be sharing with you 2 “Thank you” floral cards made using the just released “Illustrative Floral” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado, let’s jump into the step by step on how I made them ↓

To begin with, as usual I started by setting up on my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine then, I turned on the glimmer hot foil platform, and while the platform was heating up, I cut a large piece of the gold foil included in the kit and I lined up over an A2 white card panel along with the largest glimmer plate from the “Illustrative Floral” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club. Once, the platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get foiled 2-A2 white card panels foil with the large glimmer plate from the set, and 1 with the second-to-last glimmer plate.

Right after that I had the card panels foiled, I went ahead to get foiled the “Thank you” sentiment from the Effortless Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set foiled. So therefore, after I was done foiling, I set the platform aside and I move on to assemble the first card.

So, for the assembling I went ahead and use the largest and the sixth-to-last dies from the Nestabilities Essential Label Etched Dies to get the frames die-cut out of the card panel. Then, I adhered down the backing of the largest foiled frame with double-sided tape to an A2 side folding white card base, and I mounted the smaller frame with craft foam and double-side tape over the largest frame to add dimension. Lastly, I glued down on the left side of the card 2 flowers that I created using June’s Small Die of the Month, and to finish the card off, I mounted with dimensional square adhesives the Thank you sentiment which, I foiled and die-cut out the cardstock using its coordinated die.

For the second card, I adhered down with double-sided tape the second large frame to an A2 side folding card base, but instead of creating a portrait design I went for a landscaping design.

Therefore, after I had the first panel adhered to the card base, I lined up over a white card panel the fifth-to-last and the sixth-to-last dies from the Nestabilities Essential Label Etched Dies to create a detailed dotted frame. So, after the dotted details were added to the card panel, I lined up the sprig accents included in the set and the Thank you sentiment, and I’ve gotten them foiled (as shown in the image above)

Lastly, after I was done foiling the accents and the sentiment, I mounted with craft foam and double-sided tape the detailed panel over the card base, and I finished the card off by mounting a floral cluster that I had previously created using Glimmered Botanical Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set.
