Summer Floral┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Sunday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share with you these 2 “Summer Floral” inspiration cards that, I’ve created with the just releases Alex Syberia Designs Digital Stamps. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made them ↓

As per usual in every digital stamp release, I started by downloading and printing the images so, for the first example, I’ve got the Summer Bouquet Digi Stamp Set printed on Strathmore Smooth Bristol Paper. That said, after I’ve got the printing done, I went ahead, and I clear heated embossing the printing. So, after I’ve had gotten the heat embossing done, I placed the printed and heat embossed panel over my Make Art Mini Stay-Tion All-in-One Magnetic Surface and I secured it with the magnets.

Therefore, soon after that I’ve got the bouquet secure, I went ahead and water-coloring the bouquet with a mix of pastel hues that I created using one of the color palettes from my stash. So, right after that I had the water-coloring done I set it aside, and as soon as the painting was dry, I lined up the largest die from the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set over the card panel, and I ran them though my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the frame and to add the stitching detail to it.

Then, after I’ve had added the stitching detail to the card panel, I mounted the backing of it to an A2 top folding white card base with craft foam and double-sided tape and last but not least, I also mounted with dimensional square adhesives one of the sentiments from the Summer Sentiment Digi Stamp Set. Then, to finish the card off, I glued down with liquid glue some of the jewels from the Essentials: Jewels Mix to add a touch of shine.

For the second example, I kept it simple by adding the stitching detail to the card panel however, instead of printing the Summer Bouquet, I printed the Tulips Digi Stamp Set.

Then, for the water-coloring, I kept it incredibly soft by using Pastel Peach and Light Green hues. And, as for the sentiment, I trimmed off on a strip form one of the sentiments from the same set, and lastly to finish the card off, I also glued down with liquid glue a few jewels to complement the shine on both cards.
