Spellbinders OCT-2021 DOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a fun, yet extra glimmering and dimensional “Holiday” inspiration card made showcasing the newest, OCTOBER-2021 “Holiday Hauls” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders. Along with it, I’ve also used “Sending You” OCTOBER-2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit to add the “Special Delivery” sentiment and to add the snowy background, I used Twinkle Lights Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Prism. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit includes 14 dies, which die-cut the side view truck and its elements which are perfect to create, Autumn/Fall and Christmas cards. Thus, I went ahead to line up the truck die over a piece of white cardstock, and then I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Next, I went ahead to line up the rest of dies to get the die-cutting pieces for the gift, Christmas trees, fence. bow, and truck tires out of; Black, White, Green, Yellow and Gold cardstock. Along with those dies, I used one of the edge dies including in APRIL-2021 DOML past kit of the month as well to get the die-cutting hills cut out of white cardstock.

Thus, right after that I’ve got finished die-cutting all pieces, I started to get the truck assembling, so before that, I went ahead to add a pop of color to it using an ink blending brush and Grapefruit ink. Next, I got glue down the pieces together using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, and then I went ahead to get the tires glue down to the truck.

Once, I had those steps done, I went ahead to finish off the truck assembling by getting the handle, mirror, fence, back and front die-cutting pieces adhered to the truck, and once I’ve got them adhered to it, I went ahead to get it embellished with the Christmas trees and gift which, I’ve had previously assembled by gluing down its die-cutting pieces.

Moving on, once the truck assembling was completed, I went ahead to start the card assembling, so to do that, I went ahead to trim off the snowy card panel a little bit smaller than the card base using my Comfort Paper Trimmer. A snowy card panel, which by the way, I created using Twinkle Lights Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Prism along with my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine for the hot foil stamping process. And, then I’ve got adhered the backing of the card panel with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size textured white card base.

Lastly, I went ahead to mount with craft foam adhesive the textured and snowy hills which I created by adding Glitter Snow to the die-cutting hills. Once, I had done, adhering them, I’ve got the truck mounted over the right side of the card using square foam adhesives to add more dimension, and then I went ahead to glue down behind the large hill some of die-cutting trees. Then, went ahead to adhere down the card sentiment, a sentiment, which I created in a signboard shape using, some of the dies including in the kit along with one of the sentiments including in this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the crystal sequins to add a pop of shine to the card. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this fun, yet extra glimmering and dimensional “Holiday” inspiration card showcasing the newest, OCTOBER-2021 “Holiday Hauls” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
