Spellbinders NOV-2021 KOM┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’ll be sharing with you a set of 6 handmade inspiration cards made using, Die Cut Shapes, Chipboard Stickers, Puffy Stickers, Enamel Dots, Stamp Set, Die Set and the Patterned Paper Pad including in NOV-2021 “Joyful Christmas” Card Kit of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step for how I’ve made them ↓

Therefore, as you know every time, I made card using spellbinders’ Card Kit of the Month, I start off by selecting the die cut shapes and patterned paper sheets that I’m going to use to create each card. Thus, for this card, I went ahead to select this, beautiful patterned paper along with those die cut shapes with foil accents.

So, I started the card off by going ahead to trim down the edges of the patterned paper to H 5-1/4” x W 4.0” inches using my Comfort Paper Trimmer, and once I had that done, I’ve gone ahead to adhere down the backing of it using double-sided adhesive to one of the textured white card bases including in the kit.

Next, I went ahead to create a holiday cluster in the center of the card using the die cut shapes that I had previously selected. Then to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount over the lower right side of the card one of the chipboard stickers to use it as the card sentiment along with some enamel dots to add a pop of shine to the card.

For the second example, I went ahead to trim down the patterned paper sheet in the same size as the previous example and then, I went ahead to get the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to one of the textured white card bases.

Next, I created a whimsical Christmas scene over the card using die cut shapes, die cut shapes which I had gotten adhered over the card front using liquid glue and square foam adhesive to add dimension to the scene.

Lastly, I adhere down two puffy stickers too use them as the card sentiment and then, I’ve got the card finished by gluing down enamel dots to a add a pop of shine to it.

For the third example, I created a landscaping form card, thus I went ahead to trim down one of the patterned paper sheets a little bit smaller than the card base and then, I’ve got it the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to one of the textured card base.

Next, I created a holiday cluster using some of the die cut shapes and then I’ve got it adhered down over the right side of the card with liquid glue and square foam adhesives add a little bit of dimension to it. Then, I created the card sentiment by adhering down some of the puffy stickers over the left side of the card, and last but certainly not least, I glued down different sizes of enamel dots to add a pop of shine to the card.

For the fourth example, I created a landscaping form card as well. Thus, I went ahead to trim down the edges of one of the patterned paper sheets and then, I had it adhered down with double-sided adhesive over one of the textured card bases.

Next, I created a cluster using the poinsettia die cut shapes and I got it adhered over the center of the front card panel.

Lastly, I to finish the card off, I went ahead to adhere down one of the die cut shapes in the center of the card to use it as the card sentiment and then, I adhered down as well some enamel dots to add a pop of shine to it.

For the fifth example, I created another whimsical Christmas scene using the Christmas trees and gifts die cut shapes.

Therefore, to make it, I went ahead to trim down one of the patterned paper sheets and then, I adhered the backing of it with double-sided adhesive to one of the textured card bases.

Once, I had the front card panel adhered to the card base, I went ahead to mount the die cut shapes over the lower side of the card and then, I adhered down two puffy stickers to use them as the card sentiment. Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down over the upper side of the card some die cut shapes with star shape along with a little angle die cut shape for an angelical look.

For the sixth and last example, I went ahead to use the die set including in the card kit along with the colored cardstock. So, to make this card, I went ahead to line up the dies over pieces of colored cardstock to die cut the pieces to create the holy leaves, poinsettias, and berries.

Thus, after finishing die cutting all pieces, I went ahead to get them assembled and then I set them off to the side to create the card front background and card base. As, for the card background, I used the left-over pieces that I had left from the paper sheets that I used for the previous example to create a quilt design. Once, I had that step completed, I went ahead to trim down the quilted card panel and then, I had it mounted with craft foam adhesive to one of the textured card bases in a landscaping form. Then, I created a rectangular gold frame using the die including in the die set and then, I went ahead to mount over the lower left and upper right corners of the gold frame the two cluster that I created using the die-cutting pieces.

Finally, to finish the last card off, I went ahead to adhere down in the center of the frame one of the puffy stickers to use it as the card sentiment, and I also got glued down some tiny jewels in the center of the poinsettias to add an extra pop of shine to them. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of 6 handmade inspiration cards using, Die Cut Shapes, Chipboard Stickers, Puffy Stickers, Enamel Dots, Stamp Set, Die Set and the Patterned Paper Pad including in NOV-2021 “Joyful Christmas"” Card Kit of the Month by Spellbinders.
