Spellbinders GOM JAN-2022┃Valentine’s Day Inspiration Card

Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a botanical and glimmering “Valentine’s Day” inspiration card made using January-2022 “Love Enclosed” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club Kit by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club includes two glimmer hot plates which one hot foil stamp the botanical looking heart and other which hot foil stamp the outlined heart with a sentiment. Besides that, the set also includes five hot plates that hot foil stamp the sentiments and lastly, six dies of which one cut out the hot foil stamping hearts and the rest that cut out the flowers and leaves.

Having that being said, as per usual with every glimmer hot foil kit, I started off by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. And, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform, and while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock both heart glimmering hot plates. And, as soon as I had the glimmer plates line up over the white cardstock piece, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura using my Quick Trimmer. Thus, after getting the hot foil stamping done for the hearts, I continued to get each of sentiments hot foil stamped over a large piece of white cardstock. As for the sentiments, I went ahead to get each of them hot foil stamped using a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass.

Next, right after that I’ve had finished the hot foil stamping, I’ve gone ahead to cut out the hearts of the cardstock and to continue with the die-cutting, I went ahead to use the dies including in the set to cut out the flowers from light and dark pink cardstock and the leaves out of light and dark green cardstock. Soon after that I’ve had finished the die-cutting process, I went ahead to start the card assembling. As for the card assembling, I went ahead to glue down the flowers over the lower side of a white card panel and then, I proceeded to get the hearts mounted with craft foam adhesive over the upper side of the card panel. Then, I’ve got mounted the card sentiment and then, I’ve gone ahead to glue down the centers of the large flowers. For the large flowers centers, I’ve got them cut out from gold cardstock, and for the small flowers, I decided to glue down small jewels to them instead.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get the backing of the card panel mounted with craft foam adhesive over an A2 size top folding white card base to raise a little bit of dimension and then, I glued down here and there more gold jewels to add an extra pop of shine to the card. And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this botanical and glimmering “Valentine’s Day” inspiration card using January-2022 “Love Enclosed” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
