Spellbinders GOM JUNE-2020┃Let Your Sentiments Shine Inspiration Cards

Happy Sunday, Friends! I On today’s blog, I’ll be sharing with you 2 “Friendship” floral cards that I made with the new; “Let Your Sentiments Shine” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado, let’s jump into the step by step on how I made them ↓

To begin with, as always I started by setting up on my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine then, I turned on the glimmer hot foil platform, and while the platform was heating up, I cut a piece of the Black foil which is included in the kit and I created the foil set up with one of the sentiment foil plates included in the kit over the lower right side of a white card panel.

Once the hot foil platform was ready to foil, I proceeded to get the sentiments foiled over the card panels. (you’ll see the second card panel below) Therefore, after I was done with the foiling, I set the platform and die-cutting machine aside, and I started the assembling for both cards.

So, for the first card I mounted with craft foam and double-sided tape a Gold card panel that measured H 5.0’’ X W 3-3/4’’ inches over an A2 side folding white card base, then I trimmed the edges off from the foiled card panel a bit smaller than the Gold card panel and I adhered it over it with double-sided tape. Right after, I got adhere with liquid glue and square adhesives in the opposite side of the sentiment the flower cluster, that I had previously created with die-cutting leaves and flowers. Lastly, I added a gold tied bow that I created out of a piece of metallic thread, and I finished the card off by gluing with liquid glue here and there sequins for a cute sparkling touch!

As you can see here in the image above, I got one of the sentiment hot foiled in the center of the card panel.

So therefore, I used once again the small die of the month to create the flowers and leaves. As you can see in the images above, I created a frame with them so, to create the frame first, I glued with liquid glue some of the flowers while some of them with square adhesives for a dimension look.

Lastly, after I was done adhering the flowers and leaves and the frame was completed, I trimmed the edges off a bit smaller than the card base, and I adhered the backing of the card panel with double-sided tape to an A2 side folding white card base.
