With that being said, today I’d like to share with you these 2 Floral and Colorful “Believe in Yourself” cards that, I’ve created showcasing the just released Believe in Yourself Stamp and Believe in Yourself Die sets. Besides that, I’ll be listing the supply list of what I used to create the cards along with all details on how to win prizes, and last but not least how to save on shipping. So, without further ado let’s jump to the step by step ↓

To begin with, I started by placing a Strathmore 300 Series Smooth Bristol card panel inside my stamping tool. Next, I placed over the card panel the outline image from the Believe in Yourself Stamp Set, and I got it stamp with Old Paper Distress Oxide. Right after, I removed the outline stamp, and I carefully got the stamping done for the inner parts of the cluster using the single stamp images from the stamp with the following distress oxide colors; Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick and Crushed Olive Distress Oxide.

Therefore, after I had the stamping done for the cluster, I finished the stamping by aligning 2 sentiments also included in the stamp set on the lower right corner of the panel, and I got them stamp with Detail Black Ink. Once, I got them stamp I trimmed down the card panel with my paper trimmer to W 3-3/4 X H 4-3/4 inches and I set it aside.

Meanwhile, I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine a white card panel along with the just released Color Block Diagonal Stripes Die not to die-cut it but, to dry emboss it over the card panel adding that way a beautiful and detailed pattern to the card panel. With that said, after I had the dry embossing done, I trimmed the edges down from the card panel, and I mounted it with craft foam and double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Lastly, I mounted the card panel on which I got the stamping done with craft foam tape to add more dimension. And… last but not least, to finish the card off I added white lines with a gel pen and added Glossy Accent to create texture and shine.

Moving on, for the second example I kept it simple and soft by stamping the cluster over a Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor card panel once again with Old Paper Distress Oxide. So, after I got the stamping done instead of keep stamping, I skipped that step because, I wanted to watercolor the flowers in for a softer look. Even though, you aren’t able to see the gray on the white flower I promise you is there as I used the same distress oxide combination to watercolor them in.

Therefore, while I was waiting for the water-coloring to dry out, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Ornate Floral Die along with a white card panel to create the die-cutting frame. Once, I got the die-cutting frame done, I carefully poked out some of the positive pieces from the frame and I glued down the frame along with the flower and leaves die-cutting pieces with liquid glue to an A2 size top folding white card base for an inlay die-cutting look. Lastly, I ran through the die-cutting machine the water-colored image along with its coordinated die to die-cut it from the card panel, and once I got it done I mounted the cluster to the card with foam square adhesives for a dimensional look.

As for the sentiment, I ran through the die-cutting machine the die that die-cut the Believe word to die-cut the shadow layer and top layer out of white cardstock, so after the die-cutting I got the word stamped once again with black ink, as well as sub-sentiment which by the way is also included in the stamp set. Finally, to finish the card off, I stacked the top layer from the Believe word to its shadow layer with foam adhesive, and I mounted the word as well as the sub-sentiment as shown in the image above to the card. As finishing touches, I covered the water-coloring with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen and I added Glossy Accent as well as white lines and tiny little dots plus, clear sequins to create dimension and shine.
