Hello, Friends! Today, I’ll be sharing with you these 2 Elegant “For You” cards that, I’ve created showcasing Spellbinders die sets from the “Flourished Fretwork by Becca Feeken Collection” So, with that said, let’s jump to the step by step on how to make them ↓

To create the first example first, I started by running through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine the Outer Rectangle Frame Die from the Shapeabilities Sentimental Finery Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork by Becca Feeken set to die-cut it out from Peaches and Cream Carstock. Second, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Label Frame Die to die-cut it out from Buttercream Cardstock. Third, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Label Frame Inlay Die to die-cut out from Gold cardstock, as well as out of Buttercream cardstock but, for the buttercream die-cutting I placed the Label Frame Strip Inlay Die to create the detail in the center of the last die-cutting frame.

Therefore, after I got the die-cutting pieces done I started the assembling for the card. For the assembling, I glued down with liquid glue the rectangle frame to an A2 side-folding white card base. Next, I mounted the label frame with craft foam and double-sided tape to the card panel. Then, I glued down with liquid glue the detailed label gold frame over the solid label frame and last but not least, I glued down the last detailed label frame a little offset to create dimension and a gold shadow in between them.

So, after I had the frames adhered down to the card base, I embellished the card by adhering with hot glue a tied bow that I created out of Peach Ribbon, as well as a pre-made flower. To finish the card off, I adhered down one of the sentiments that, I had previously foiled over Buttercream cardstock using; More Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates along with Glimmer Hot Foil System and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Blush.

To create the second example, I followed the same steps as the previous example so, to begin with I started by running through the die-cutting machine the Outer Oval Rim Die from the Shapeabilities Oval Coronet Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork by Becca Feeken set to die-cut it out Gold cardstock. Then, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Swirl Oval Inlay Die to die-cut it out from Peaches and Cream cardstock. Lastly, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Inner Oval Rim Die to die-cut it out from Gold cardstock and the Inner Oval Inlay Die to die-cut it out of Off-White cardstock. This set also includes a Small Oval Rim Die however, I decided to skip it as I was planning to place the sentiment over the center of the card.

Moving on, after I had all die-cutting pieces done, I set them aside because I wanted to add texture to the card panel. To do that, I trimmed down a Buttercream card panel a bit smaller than the card base then, I placed the card panel over my scoring board tool and I marked every single 1/8’’ of an inch to create lines over it. Once, I got the lines marked I adhered down the card panel with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base.

Therefore, after I had the card panel adhered to the card base, I started the assembling. So, for the assembling I stacked together the Outer Oval Rim die-cutting and Swirl Oval Inlay die-cutting, and I adhered them down with liquid glue over the card base. Next, I stacked together the Inner Oval Rim Die die-cutting and Inner Oval Inlay die-cutting, and I mounted them with craft foam and double-sided tape over the oval rim. Lastly, to keep it simple I adhered a sentiment from the sentiments that I had previously hot foiled, and I embellished the card by gluing down with hot glue a tied bow that I created out of cream ribbon and a pre-made flower.
