Mini Birthday Greetings & More┃Inspiration cards

Happy Monday, Friends! In today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an inspirational set of mini-handmade cards with matching envelopes made with a “Dimensional & Decorative” look using the following stamps and dies sets; Opposites Attract Stamp, Opposites Attract Dies, Rip Envelope, and Open Me Stamp by The Stamp Market. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

Therefore, I started by getting the stamping and heat embossing for the large card sentiments. Thus, I placed a large piece of heavy-weight translucent vellum inside the MISTI Mini Stamp Tool, and then, I used the Magic Powder Bag to remove MISTI Mini Stamp Tool, and then I used the Magic Powder Bag to remove any static from the vellum. Next, I used the stamp images included in Opposites Attract Stamp to get the Best stamp images over the vellum using Embossing Ink. Soon after getting the stamping done, I added Embossing Powder Ultra Fine Alabaster over the stamping, and then I used the Wow Dual Speed Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder.

After completing the stamping and heat embossing steps, I used the coordinating die included in Opposites Attract Dies and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the sentiment from the translucent vellum and also from different cardstock hues to create a layering effect. So, after getting the die-cutting step completed, I added the layering effect to the Best card sentiment. And once I got that done, I put it aside. Meanwhile, I created a 4x3 card base using a large piece of white cardstock. Lastly, to add more dimension, I added a mini card panel, and then after getting that done, I got the backing of the Best card sentiment glued down to the front card panel. Finally, to finish the card, I used the smaller card sentiments included in the stamp set along with their coordinating dies to get them stamped, heat embossing, and die-cutting from white cardstock, so I added the You are the best card sub-sentiment to my first min-handmade card. By the way, I used Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded for the gold heat embossing step.

For the second example, I made a Hello Friend mini handmade card using another of the card sentiments and coordinating dies from the same sets.

So, I added the colorful layering effect to the Hello, and then I got it glued down to another 4x3 card base. Then, I got the sub-sentiment mounted over the Hello completing that way the second example.

To keep going, I added the same layering effect to the Hugs sentiment, and then I got the backing of it glued down to another 4x3 card.

Then, to complete the third example, I used the sending sub-sentiment to complete it.

Moving on, for the last example, I made a birthday card with the same colorful and layering effect.

However, instead of adding the stamping and heat embossing step, I only added a die-cutting effect using the FREEBIE die offered with a $100 purchase before taxes + shipping. By the way, there’s no coupon necessary for the freebie. That being said, to finish the card, I added the metallic gold effect to it, I got the Happy sentiment cut out of gold cardstock.

Lastly, after getting the cards finished, I decided not to add any extra embellishments because I wanted to add the extra embellishments to their matching envelopes. As for the matching envelopes, I used coordinating colored cardstock along with the Rip Envelope die.

Then after getting the mini envelopes assembled, I used the Open Me stamp to get the back and front of the envelopes stamped and heat embossing using the stamp images from the stamp set.

Nevertheless, here’s another image where you can appreciate how the back side of the envelopes looked.

And, with that being said, friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of inspirational mini-handmade cards with matching envelopes with a “Dimensional & Decorative” look using stamps, dies, and more by The Stamp Market.
