To begin with, I started by running through the die-cutting machine the mailbox shape die from the Mailbox Gift Holder Die Set to die-cut it 4X out of white card stock. Once, all 4 die-cuttings were done, I positioned the tiny die from the set that creates the mailbox slot and, I ran the die-cuttings once again through the die-cutting machine to create the slots only on the 2 front sided of mailbox. Next, I ran through the die-cutting machine the card holder to, die-cut it 2X as well out of white card stock. Right after the die-cutting part, I positioned the main part of the die-cutting which, happens to be the one that goes in front of the mailbox on the stamping tool. Then, I treated it with Embossing Powder Tool and, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Merry Mail Stamp Set with WOW! Embossing Ink. Lastly, after the stamping, I added Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder over the stamping and I heat set it with the WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool until the powder was completely melted.
NOTE: I used a stamping tool because, I was creating 2 mailbox tags from each of the colors at the time but, you can easily do the stamping with an acrylic block.

After the heat embossing, I proceeded to assemble the mailboxes. To do that first; I reinforced the score lines created from the die then, I adhered skinny yet, strong double-sided tape all around the edges of the front part of the back piece of the mailbox (hope this makes sense as, 2 assembled pieces create the whole mailbox) So, once I had the double-sided tape on the edges of the mailbox, I carefully place the card holder die-cutting in the center of the back piece which at this point was the middle part without letting it touch the adhesive and, right after that I removed the peeling from the double-sided tape and, I carefully adhered the front and back of the mailbox together creating that way the whole sliding mechanism.
TIP: To make it simple, try to clip down with tweezers or a paperclip the card holder die-cutting in the center of the slider channel while adhering the edges of the mailbox to, prevent the card holder to slide and stick to the adhesive while adhering both pieces together.
Soon after the assembling, I positioned the mailbox once again on the other side of the stamping tool so, I could stamp to gold heat emboss the PULL on the card holder as shown in the picture. As you can see the only differences between the first and second examples are very minimal as, I only changed the sentiments that are gold embossed in front of the mailboxes and the little cards placed inside the slots. By the way, those little cards were created with a stamp and dies included in the sets.

For the third and fourth example, I die-cut it the mailboxes out of Blush Pink Card Stock other than that… the assembling and mechanism was exact the same as, the 2 previous examples.

As embellishments, I made little bows out of Satin Pink Ribbon from my stash which, by the way matched perfectly with the color card stock. Once, I had them ready to adhere, I adhered 2 of them off set with strong adhesive to the white mailboxes as, you can see in the picture above. As for the pink mailboxes, I used a punch hole to create the holes of the center of each mailbox then, I ran through the die-cutting machine the little die from the Vintage Slides Die Set that creates the reinforcements to die-cut them out of the same pink card stock. Lastly, I adhered the reinforcements with liquid glue to the holes and, to finish the tags off, I tied a piece of baker’s twine and the bows to each of them. To add a little extra something to these 2 mailboxes, I decided to die-cut the Holly Leaves out of Leafy Card Stock, the berries out gold card stock and the branches out of Desert Storm Card Stock. As for the branches, I gold heat embossing them! To add a touch of sparkle, I adhered 3 Unicorn Tears Jewels on top of the berries and right after that, all 4 mailboxes were done! With that being said, that’s all for today YAY!!! if you made it to the end, I hope that these Mailbox Tags inspire you to give them, and the Gold/Silver” challenge a try!
