Today, I have 3 card ideas to share with you featuring a few die sets to join in Pinkfresh Studio for their new Essential-3 Release Blog Hop so, without further ado… please keep on reading below ⤵

For the first example, I created a Season’s Greetings card featuring the new Ornate Banner Die Set so, to begin with, I started by inking up 3 Strathmore Bristol Smooth card panels with Coral Reef Ink because, I wanted a cohesive color for the 3 examples. Once, all card panels were ink up, I set 2 of them aside and, I ran through the die-cutting machine one along with the largest die and the little detail die from the Ornate Banner Die Set.

Right after the die-cutting part, I foam mounted the detailed card panel to an A2 top folding white card base. Then, I ran through the die-cutting machine one of the Classic Holiday Words Die Set to die-cut the shadow layer out of Translucent Vellum and the top layer out of gold card stock. Soon after that, I stacked both layers and I adhered them with liquid glue to the card. Lastly, to add an extra detail to the card, I ran through the die-cutting machine the bow dies from the Partial Cut Bouquet & A Bow Die Set to die-cut the bow out gold card stock which, right afterwards, I assembled and adhere to the card as you can see in the picture above.

To make the second card, I started by running through the die-cutting machine the Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die to die-cut it out of the second inked card panel that, I created earlier. Next, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Diagonal Stripes with Window Die to die-cut it out of white card stock. Once, both card panels were die-cut out of the card stocks, I adhered the backing of the white card panel with liquid glue to the inked panel, except for the window. Then, I adhered the backing on the stacked card panels to an A2 side folding card base creating that way a beautiful pattern with both die-cuttings. Lastly, I inlaid with foam mounting tape the window, As, for the sentiment, I ran through the die-cutting machine another die from the Classic Holiday Words Die Set which, I die-cut and layered in the same way as the previous example afterwards. To finish the card off, I stamped on a piece of translucent vellum with Embossing Ink Pad the bow from the Season’s Greetings Stamp Set which, I gold heat embossed it with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder and… last but not least, I die-cut it out of the vellum with its coordinated die last but not least, I adhered the bow and the sentiment with liquid glue to the card.

For the last example, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Radiating Background 2 Die along with a white card panel. Next, I ran through the die-cutting machine the last inked background along with Ornate Oval Frame Die which, you can use as the frame itself or the two pieces together as, I did on today’s example. So, after the die-cutting part, I gold heat embossed in the center piece of the oval the sentiment from Sparkle with Magic Stamp Set which, soon after the heat embossing, I foam mounted both pieces of the ornate oval frame to the detailed card panel background. Lastly, I adhered the backing of the card panel with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base.

As a finishing touch, I adhered here and there with liquid glue to each of the cards a few jewels for a sparkly look.
