Garden Wreath Window┃Inspiration Card

Happy Saturday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a very dimensional “Encouragement” inspiration card made with a window and a floral look using: Essentials: Shaker Tags, Essentials: Stitched Squares Die Set and Essentials: Slim Stripes Die Set to create the window shape and stitched square frame. Along with Anemone Magic Washi Tape and Anemone Magic Die with a combination of Garden Wreath Die Set and Curvy Leaves Die Set to create the small floral clusters. And Modern Script Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and Modern Script Sentiments Die for the card sentiment. Plus, Floral Grid Cover Pate Die for the decorative insert for the window, Metallic Pearls -Gold for the card embellishment and last but certainly not least, PFS- Inks. to add the pop of color. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by lining up over a large piece of white cardstock the larger die included in Essentials: Stitched Squares Die Set and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the square panel and to add the stitching detail to it. Next, I went ahead to line up right in the center of the square panel the window shape die included Essentials: Shaker Tags to cut out the decorative window frame and to add the stitching details to it, as well.

Right after that I’ve had gotten finished adding the die-cutting process for the decorative window frame, I went ahead to put the card panel aside and then, I use the medium size die included in Essentials: Slim Stripes Die Set to cut out from white cardstock a few white strips to create the window apron/stool. That being said, as soon as, I had that done, I proceeded to place the white strips aside and then, I continued the die-cutting process for the decorative panel that, I was going to use as an insert for the window.

Thus, for the die-cutting decorative insert panel, I used white cardstock and Floral Grid Cover Pate Die. Lastly, to finish the die-cutting process off, I went ahead to use some of the dies included Garden Wreath Die Set and the smaller size die included in Curvy Leaves Die Set to cut out the greenery from Green cardstock. Once, I had that done, I’ve gone ahead to cut out the smaller floral clusters so, to make it simple, I went ahead to use Anemone Magic Washi Tape and Anemone Magic Die. This step was quite simple, as all I did was to unroll the Rainbow Floral Washi and tape it down over a large piece of white cardstock then, I used its coordinating to cut the images out from the cardstock just as, I’ve had done it before with all Pinkfresh Studio Washi-tape Rolls.

Moving on, after getting the die-cutting process done for the small floral clusters, I went ahead to add a pop of color to a small piece of white cardstock using an ink blending brush along with Lemon Whip Ink. Next, I layered over the inked cardstock piece the decorative card panel and then, I went ahead to trim off the edges of it to fit it under the window frame. Then, I went ahead to get a piece of acetate adhered to the backing of the window frame and then, while the panel was facing down to my craft mat, I added piece of Double Sided Adhesive Foam to raise some dimension. Lastly, I went ahead to peel off the backing of the foam adhesive and the, I proceeded to get the frame mounted over the layered and decorative frame. I was thinking on taking a step further and make a shaker window however, I decided to skip this step because, I liked how the simply pop of yellow reflected light from the window.

Once, I had the dimensional window frame completed, I went ahead to trim off the white strips and then, I got them layered over to create the window stool look. Next, I created two floral clusters using the die-cutting greenery and floral cluster and then, I added them to the upper right and lower left corners of the window just as, shown in the image above. Finally, I added the some glimmer to the window by adding a hot foil stamping sentiment; a sentiment which, I’ve had previously created using Modern Script Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and Modern Script Sentiments Die along with a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura and Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform for the hot foil stamping process. Nevertheless, after adding the card sentiment to the decorative window, I proceeded to get the backing of the card panel adhered using my Permanent Tape Runner to a 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 square top folding white card base.

Then, as a finishing touch, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of Metallic Pearls -Gold to add even more shine to the card. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this dimensional “Encouragement” inspiration card with a window and a floral look using, products by Pinkfresh Studio.
