You Got This┃Slimline Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an “Encouragement” and very subtle slimline inspiration card with touches of glitter using: Chrysanthemum Slimline Stamp, Chrysanthemum Slimline Layering Stencils and Chrysanthemum Slimline Die from the latest February-2022 Stamp, Dies, Stencil & Hot Foil Release. by Pinkfresh Studio. Along with this set, I’ve used Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the stitched details to the front card panel, and Slimline Layered Starburst Layering Stencil Set to add the subtle starburst effect to it as well. And lastly, PFS- Inks to add the pop of colors to the floral and card background. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by getting the stamping done for the large floral image thus; I went ahead to place a large piece of white cardstock inside my MISTI Stamp Tool and then, I lined up over it the large floral image from Chrysanthemum Slimline Stamp. Once, I had that step done, I proceeded to get the image stamped twice with embossing ink over the cardstock. Next, after getting the stamping done, I went ahead to get it heat emboss it using gold embossing powder.

Thus, as soon as, I’ve had finished the heat embossing, I proceeded to place the cardstock over my MAKE ART Stay-tion-All-In-One Magnetic Surface and then, I lined up over it the stencil #1 from Chrysanthemum Slimline Layering Stencils to get the layered stenciling over the heat embossing image. Having that said, I went ahead to use the other three stencils to complete the inking along with some of the regular size ink blending brushes + some of the Mini Ink Blending Brushes to add depth and details to the floral image. By the way, I used Peach Fuzz Ink and Apricot Ink for the flowers + Grassy Knoll Ink and Olive Ink for the foliage.

Once, I’ve had finished inking it up the floral image, I’ve gone ahead to put it off to the side to let the ink sink into the paper. Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up over another large piece of white cardstock the stencil #1 from Slimline Layered Starburst Layering Stencil Set and then, I used an ink blending brush to inking it up with light touches along with Ocean Breeze Ink. Then, to keep it simple, I used the same hue to ink up the card panel with a heavier touch but not too, heavy at the same time along with stencil #2. Lastly, I used Glitter Kiss-Frosty Sparkle to finish the stenciling along with stencil #3adding that way a sparkling layer to it.

Moving on, after getting the inking done for the cardstock , I went ahead to use the largest die including in Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to die-cut the slimline frame from it and to add the stitching details to it. Also, I used Chrysanthemum Slimline Die to cut out the floral image for the card as well. Therefore, after finishing the die-cutting process for the floral cluster and frame, I went ahead to pop up the flora image over the card panel with craft foam adhesives to add dimension and then, I got mounted the backing of the card panel with craft foam adhesive to a slimline white card base. Finally, I used one of the large sentiments including in the stamp set along with its coordinating die to create the card sentiment and then, I got it mounted over the upper side of the card with narrow pieces of craft foam adhesive to add even more dimension to the card.

As, a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the Jewels: Peach Fuzz to add even more shine to the card. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Encouragement” and very subtle slimline inspiration card with touches of glitter using, products by Pinkfresh Studio.
