XO Die 3-Ways┃Inspiration Projects

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this “XO” 3 Ways inspiration projects made using XO Die, Lots of Love Notes Stamp Set and Wonky Half Hearts Stencil Set along with a full array of stamps, dies and inks by The Stamp Market. By the way, these projects were also created for the mini One Product 3-Ways Instagram Hop which is live now, I will be leaving a link at the end of this blog post in case you want to hop along with us. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

To begin with, I started by making this handmade/home decor 10x10 inches Valentine’s Day Frame gift. Therefore, to do that I started by trimming off a large piece of white cardstock to 8x8’ inches. Next, to make it simple I placed the cardstock piece inside my Memory MISTI and then, I went ahead to line up over it the Stencil#1 from Wonky Half Hearts Stencil Set leaving a margin space of 3/4’’ of an inch from the left and 1’’ inch from top and bottom. So, once the stencil was line up over the cardstock I went ahead to secure it with the magnets from the stamping tool and then, I proceeded to ink up the cardstock over the stencil using one of my Blending Brushes and Melon Orange Ink.

Moving on, as soon as I’ve had finished ink blending the first half of the wonky hearts, I went ahead to remove the stencil and the, I placed it onto place the Stencil #2 and I repeated the inking but, this time using Blush Pink Ink. So, once I had the whole inking done over the background, I went ahead to set it off aside while I moved on to create the gold XO die-cutting word. Therefore, to do that, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of gold cardstock the XO Die and then, I went ahead to run them thru my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Lastly, right after that I had finished die-cutting the XO word, I went ahead to glue it down right in the center of the ink blended wonky hearts background and then, I finished it off by gluing down here and there with liquid glue some Crystal Confetti to add a touch of sparkle. Ans, last but not least, I went ahead to insert my Valentine’s home decor piece inside of a Gallery Wall 8x8 Frame.

For the second example, I made a standard A2 size card so therefore, I went ahead to create a second ink blended background in the same way as I did in the previous example for a cohesive theme. Thus, as soon as had finished the ink blending over the card panel, I went ahead to line up over it the XO Die and then, I ran them thru my die-cutting machine. Once I had that step done, I went ahead to repeat the same step for the die-cutting word but this time to die-cut it 2 times out of white cardstock.

This awesome die die-cut an outer lined and inner layer so, I went ahead to remove the inner layer from the card panel and then, I adhered pieces of craft foam tape to the backing of the whole card panel. Once I had that step done, I went ahead to peel off the backing of the craft foam tape and then, I went ahead to mount the card panel over an A2 side folding card base on a landscape form. Lastly, I inlaid into place both white inner layers from the XO die-cuttings and I finished the card off by mounting a sentiment which I had previously stamp and gold heat embossing on a strip of white cardstock using gold embossing powder and one of the sentiments from Lots of Love Notes Stamp Set. As a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue some of the crystal confetti sequins to add a touch of shine!

For the third and last example, I made a see-through Tag/Bookmark so therefore, to do that I used Tall Tag Die and a fusables clear sheet along with my Project Life Fuse Tool and one of the WRMK Fuse Tips to create not only a see-through but, also a shaker tag. Thus, I went ahead to place over my WRMK- Mat and Holster the tools to do it and then, I followed the instruction for how to fuse and seal the tag using the fuse tool along with the tag die to fuse around its perimeter.

Therefore, as soon as I got to the top of it, I left it open to add a bunch of WRMK Glitter Mix and then I continued to seal it. As for the bottom part, I went ahead to stamp and heat embossing over a piece of white cardstock and gold heat embossing powder one of the sentiments included in Best Gift Ever Stamp which I trimmed off and placed it inside the tag before I completely seal it using my fuse tool.

Lastly, to embellish it I kept it simple by gluing down the white and ink blended XO die-cutting pieces that I had left from the previous example and to finish it off I glued down a pre-made bow which I had previously die-cut and assembled out of gold cardstock using, the dies from Bitty Bow Die.
