Spellbinders FEB-2021 GOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a “Thank You” inspiration card made using the latest “Scalloped Rectangle Glimmer Essentials with Sentiments” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

This month the glimmer club includes a beautiful nested scalloped frames and sentiments plates so therefore, to begin with as per usual with every hot foil kit club of the month, I started by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. Then, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform. And, while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to line up over a white card panel the largest scalloped plate included in the club kit.

Once, I had the glimmer plate line up over the white card panel, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass using the Quick Trimmer. So, after the glimmer hot foil platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get the white cardstock panel foiled by running the platform through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Thus, after I had it foiled, I went ahead to repeat the same step to get two more pieces of white cardstock foiled using the third-to-last and the smaller scalloped plates.

Moving on, right after that I’ve had finished the foiling over the white cardstock panels, I went ahead to remove the plates from them and then, I started the assembling for the card so to do that, I’ve gotten trim off the edges from the largest scalloped foiled panel and then, I went ahead to adhere it with double-sided tape to an A2 side folding white card base on a landscape form. Next, I used a small pair of scissors to fussy cut the medium scalloped foiled panel out of the cardstock and I got it mounting with craft foam tape to the card base. Lastly, before I fussy cut the smaller scalloped foiled frame, I went ahead to line up one of the sentiments glimmer plated included in the club kit and I proceed to foiled it over. Once, I had that step done, I went ahead to fussy cut it out of the white cardstock and then, I mounted it with craft foam tape (as shown in the image above.)

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to embellish it by mounting two small floral cluster which I had previously foiled and created using Organic Foliage Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set and Foliage Border Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set along with TSM Inks in Curry, Leafy, Bubble Gum & Fresh Pink colors to add a pop of color to them. Then, as a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue a few Crystal Confetti sequins to add a pop of shine! With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Thank You” inspiration card using the latest “Scalloped Rectangle Glimmer Essentials with Sentiments” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders.
