WOW! November-2020 Birthdays Challenge┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share with you a quick and simple yet, very sparkly “Birthday” inspiration card that I’ve made for NOV-2020/ “Birthdays” challenge theme over WOW! Embossing Powders Facebook Page using WOW! Trio Summer Scoops and WOW! Metallic Gold Rich. With that being said, I also would like to invite you to come and play along with us for a chance to win a $15.00 or ₤15.00 gift card to WOW! US or WOW! UK online stores. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by lining up over a white card panel the Bouquet of Roses Stencil so therefore, once I’ve had them both line up I’ve gone ahead to temporarily adhere the backing of them with a piece of washitape. Thus, after I’ve finished that step, I’ve gone ahead to carefully ink up the leaves with WOW! Embossing Pad using one of the Finger Sponge Daubers.

Once, that I’ve had finished inking the leaves up, I’ve gone ahead to remove the stencil and I carefully sprinkled Lemon Sorbet embossing powder from WOW! Trio Summer Scoops. Therefore, after I’ve had covered the surface from the leaves, I’ve gone ahead to heat set the powder using my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool.

Moving on, after I’ve had finished heat setting the embossing powder, I’ve gone ahead to line up once again the stencil over the card panel and once again I’ve used a pieces of washitape to keep it onto place. So, after I’ve had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to use once again the finger sponge dauber to ink up only 3 flower in a triangle way as I was going to heat emboss the flowers with 2 different embossing powders.

Therefore, after that I’ve inked up the flowers, I’ve removed the stencil and I’ve sprinkled over the sticky surface with Razzleberry and then, I’ve gone ahead to heat set the powder using my heat embossing gun tool. So, on and so forth, I’ve repeated the same step to heat emboss the other 3 flowers with Orangeade both embossing powders also included in the trio.

Lastly, after I’ve had finishing the heat embossing, I’ve gone ahead to line up over the heat embossed panel (as shown in the image above) the Birthday word die from Jumbo Happy Birthday Die Set and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Thus, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the birthday word, I’ve gone ahead to die-cut 3 more times the word but this time out of white cardstock because, I was going to inlay the birthday die-cutting word back into place but, with a bit of dimension.

Finally, after I’ve had the die-cutting pieces done, I’ve gone ahead to trim the edges off from the card panel and I’ve gotten it adhere with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Next, I’ve gone ahead to stack the white die-cutting words and I’ve gone ahead to inlay them over the card. Last but not least, I’ve gone ahead to glue down the heat embossed die-cutting word over the white ones and then, I’ve gone ahead to finish the card off by mounting a partial Happy sentiment which I’ve had previously gold heat embossed on a white strip using one of the sentiments from Make a Wish Stamp Set and WOW! Metallic Gold Rich for the heat embossing step. As a finishing touch, I’ve gone ahead to glue down with liquid glue a few sequins from my most favorite Heaven Sent Sequin Mix to add an extra touch of sparkle. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step on how I’ve made this “Birthday” inspiration card even though it seems a bit complicated, I guarantee you that was not only fun but easy to make.
