So, as soon as the panel was into place I added a wash of watercolor using W&N Flesh Gouache with a touch of Orange to create a Peach hue.

Once, I’ve got the water-coloring finished over the card panel, I set it aside to dry. Meanwhile, I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine the Sorry Heart Dies to die-cut the heart 5X out of White cardstock and 1X out of Gold cardstock. Therefore, once the die-cutting hearts were finish out, I stacked 4 of the whites to create dimension and right after that, I glued them with liquid glue a bit offset to the left over the gold heart to create a slightly gold shadow. Then, after I had the dimensional die-cutting heart done, I set it aside and I’ve the sentiment heat embossed over the last white die-cutting heart.

As for the sentiment, I placed the die-cutting heart inside my stamping tool, and I added Embossing Tool Powder over it to remove any static from it then, I lined up 2 sentiments from the All My Love Stamp Set over the heart and I’ve got them stamped with WOW! Embossing Pad. Thus, after I’ve got done, I covered the sticky surface with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich, and I heated set the powder with my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool until the powder got completely melted. By the time that I was done heat embossing the sentiment over the die-cutting heart my card panel was completely dry so, I went ahead and placed it inside my stamping tool that said, I lined up the Hearts Garland Background Stamp over the card panel and I’ve got the stamping and heat embossing done on the card panel.

Lastly, after the card panel and sentiments were heat embossed, I trimmed the edges off from the card panel and I adhered the backing of it with double-sided tape to an A2 standard size top folding white card base. And, to finish the card off I glued the heat embossed white heart over the dimensional die-cutting heart and I mounted it to the center of the card. As you can see in the image above, I created 2 card with the same idea in mind so, as finishing touches all I did was to embellish one of the cards with You’re Peachy Sequins.

With that being said, here you have the same card but designed in 2 different textures as, I used Strathmore Smooth Bristol Paper for one and Strathmore Watercolor Paper for the other. Which one do you like best? A Distress look achieved from the watercolor paper or a Smooth look from the Bristol paper.
