Waffle Flower┃Celebrate the Season Inspiration Card

Happy Monday, crafty friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this quick and simple yet, extra glittery “Celebrate the Season” card made with Keeway's Scene Building Stencil Trio and Spotlight Holiday Elements Stamp Set by Waffle Flower. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I’ve made it.

To begin with, I’ve started by lining up right in the center of an A2 size white card panel the Keeway's Mountain Scene Stencil from Keeway's Scene Building Stencil Trio so therefore, once I’ve had it lined up, I went ahead to ink up the pine trees using a mix of Lucky Clover and Pine Needles distress oxide inks.

Thus, after I’ve had finish inking the pine trees, I’ve gone ahead to remove the stencil from the card panel and then, I replace back over it in the lower side of the card panel but, I slightly shift it to the right. Therefore, after I’ve had it into place, I went ahead to ink up the pine trees once again with the same combination however, in a slightly intense way.

So on and so forth, I’ve repeated the same step in the top part of the card panel but, as you can see in the image above, I inked it up with whatever ink I’ve had left on my ink blending brush to achieve a softer look. Moving on, after I was done inking up the pine trees, I’ve gone ahead to create the glittery mountains so, to do that I’ve used one of the edges from the stencil along with one of my Finger Sponge Daubers and WOW! Embossing Ink to ink them up. Lastly, after I’ve finished the inking for the mountains, I’ve gone ahead to add Glisten powder and then, I’ve proceed to heat set the powder using my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool. Lastly, after that I’ve finished heat setting the powder, I’ve gone ahead to add a few clouds on the upper side of the card using Keeway's Sky Scene Stencil from the trio and Misty Coast Ink. Last but not least, I went ahead to add white splatters and then, I went ahead to trim the edges off from the card panel which right afterwards I’ve got mount with craft foam tape to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount with craft foam tape a layered sentiment which I’ve had previously white heated emboss over an inked piece of cardstock and layered over a piece of black cardstock (as sown in the image above) By the way, the sentiments is included in Spotlight Holiday Elements Stamp Set and the cardstock piece was inked with the same color combination that I’ve used for the pine trees. As, a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue a combination of crystals and jewels to add even more shine! With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I made this quick and simple yet, extra glittery “Celebrate the Season” handmade card.
