The Stamp Market┃ Sending Cheer Inspiration Card

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this cheerful and colorful “Holiday” inspiration card with a floral vibe thinking of my friends overseas that celebrate the holiday season during summer time. Thus, I made it using some holiday stamps and dies from the latest “Merry & Magical” release by The Stamp Market. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, to create this card, I started off by creating the die-cutting window over an A2 size white cardstock panel, so to do that, I went ahead to line up over the white panel the Window Die, and once I’ve got them both line up, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Next, as soon as I’ve got finished die-cutting the window over the panel, I went ahead to puck the positive pieces out from the window frame, and then I put the die-cutting panel off to the side.

Meanwhile, I went ahead to add a pop of yellow color to a second A2 size white card panel using an ink blending brush and Citrine color ink to create an illusion of light, once I layered the die-cutting window panel over it. Having that said, right after that I’ve got finished adding the pop of color to it, I went ahead to trim down the edges a little bit smaller than the die-cutting panel using my Comfort Paper Trimmer, and once I’ve got that step completed, I quickly gone ahead to get the die-cutting card panel over the inked panel using craft foam adhesive to raise a little bit of dimension between them.

Next, as soon that I’ve got layered both card panels, I went ahead to get the backing adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Then, right after that I’ve got finished doing that, I went ahead to put the card base off to the side, to get the stamping started for the floral images. As, for the flowers and leaves images I used Joyful Blooms Die Set and Joyful Blooms Stamp Set along with Greenery, Forest and Umber hues for the greenery + Peach, Coral and Papaya hues for the flowers.

To make it easy , I used my MISTI Stamping Tool for the stamping process and my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut each stamped image. Therefore, as soon as I’ve got finished stamping and die-cutting each stamped image, I went ahead to start the card layering. So, to do that I went ahead to use a combination of craft foam square adhesive and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to get the flowers and leaves adhered to the die-cutting front card panel (as shown in the image above.) The die and stamp sets include as well the anther and filament for one of the flowers, however instead of stamping the image for them, I went ahead to directly get them die-cut out of Diamond Glitter Cardstock adding that way a touch of sparkle to the flowers.

Moving on, once that I’ve had gotten the flowers and leaves mounted over the front card panel, I went ahead to mount card sentiment over the upper left side of the die-cutting window as well, a card sentiment which I had get stamped and die cut out of white cardstock using a sentiment from Sending Cheer Stamp Set along with its coordinating die which is including in Sending Cheer Dies Then, last but certainly not least, I went ahead to finish the card off by gluing down here and there some of the Crystal Confetti to add even more shine to the card.

And with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this cheerful and colorful “Holiday” inspiration card, using stamps and dies from the latest “Merry & Magical” release by The Stamp Market.
