Stitched Scallop Rectangles┃Inspiration Card & Matching Gift Card Holder

Happy Monday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share this quick clean and simple “Holiday Card & Matching Gift Card Holder” made with Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set by Pinkfresh Studio from their newest November-2020 Essentials Die Release. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

To begin with, I’ve started by lining up the largest die from Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set over one patterned paper sheets from Oh What Fun 6 x 6 Paper Pack. Once, I had that step done, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Therefore, once I’ve had finished die-cutting the scallop background, I went ahead to get it adhere down with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base.

Thus, after I’ve had it adhered to the card base, I went ahead to set it off to the side so I could go and die-cut the scallop frame. So, I went ahead to line up the larger scallop die from the set to die-cut the frame out of white cardstock. Therefore, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the frame, I went ahead to remove the center of it, and then I place it upside down so I could adhere skinny pieces of double-sided tape to the perimeter of the frame which, right afterwards I peeled off and I adhered to it a large piece of acetate.

Lastly, after I’ve had the acetate adhere to the scallop frame, I went ahead to place it inside my MISTI Stamping Tool so, I could get the sentiment stamp and then gold heated embossing with WOW! Embossing Pad and WOW! Metallic Gold Rich using one of the sentiments from Our Home to Yours Stamp Set. And finally, after I’ve finished the heat embossing step, I went ahead to remove the scallop frame out of my stamping tool and then, I adhered skinny pieces of craft foam tape to the back of it raising that way a bit of dimension. Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get glue down here and there with liquid glue some jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix and I also added a quite amount of crushed crystal to the card panel. Last but not least, I peeled off the backing of the craft foam tape and then, I’ve got the frame adhered to the card creating that way a large scallop-shaker window.

As for the gift card holder, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the largest die from Essentials: Fillable Gift Card Holder Die Set. Once, I had them both line up, I went ahead to run them thru the die-cutting machine to add the details inside of the gift card holder.

Moving on, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the gift card holder, I went ahead to fold it in half following the scoring line created from the die and then, I set it off to the side. Meanwhile, I went ahead to die-cut a smaller scallop frame using another patterned paper sheet from the same paper pack and the smaller scallop die from the set. Once, I’ve had that step done, I went ahead to remove the center of it and I set both pieces off to the side.

Lastly, I went ahead to die-cut another small scallop frame but, this time out of a detailed white card panel which I’ve had previously created using Essentials: Stitches Die. That said, after I’ve finished die-cutting all pieces, I went ahead to adhere with double-sided tape the whole scallop detailed panel to the gift card holder. Next, I went ahead to mount with skinny pieces of craft foam tape the patterned scallop frame to it. Last but not least, I mounted a sentiment which I’ve had previously stamp and gold heated embossing using a sentiment and its coordinating die from Our Home to Yours Stamp Set and Our Home to Yours Coordinating Die Set. To finish the gift card holder off, I went ahead to get glue down with liquid glue a few jewels to add an extra touch of shine.
