Spellbinders Santa Lane Limited Edition Cardmaking Christmas Kit 2022┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you another holiday season’s set of inspiration cards with a “Christmas” look to showcase Santa Lane Limited Edition Cardmaking Christmas Kit 2022 by Spellbinders. This is a mega Christmas kit that will have you creating so many holiday projects also, this HUGE kit includes over 300 pieces and will create over 25 Holiday cards between A2 and A5 sizes isn’t that so much fun? So, without further ado let’s jump right in to the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

Therefore, I started off by using the die set included in the cardmaking kit along with my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to get the die-cutting pieces cut from the cardstock hues included in the kit as well. Next, after getting the die-cutting process completed, I proceeded to get the santa, snowman, sled, gifts, bag, bell and rope assembled and once I had that step completed, I put them off aside while I trimmed off a card panel 1/4 of an inch smaller than one of the A5 card bases thus, to do that, I used the white cardstock included in the kit.

Once, I had finished trimming down the card panel, I went ahead to get the backing of it adhered to its card base and then, I proceeded to get the assembled elements gluing down over it. Then, to finish the card off, I used some of the snowflakes puffy stickers and some of the sentiments and stars puffy stickers to get it embellished.

For the second example, I used one of the patterned paper sheets included in the paper pad for the card background and then, I used a combination of die cut shapes to create a cozy Christmas scene over it.

Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to use some of the puffy star stickers along with some Gemstones to add the card a little extra touch of shine.

Then, for the last example, I used another of the patterned paper sheets from the paper pad to add the card background and then, I went ahead to select a variation of the foiled snowflake and stars die cut shapes to get the card embellished.

Moving on, as soon as, I had them selected, I proceeded to layer the smaller snowflakes over the large ones using Precision Craft Glue and then, I got them mounted over the card using foam squares adhesives to raise some dimension to them.

Lastly, I went ahead to glue down the stars and then, I used some of the sentiments die cut shapes to create a dimensional card sentiment by getting them mounted with square foam adhesives in the center of the card. Finally, to add even more shine to the foiled look, I went ahead to add to the dimensional snowflakes some gemstones and then I got gluing down some little foiled stars, too!
NOTE: I would like to mention that if you aren’t in to cardmaking kits, Spellbinders also has listed individually some of the components from this kit and you can find them by clicking here → Santa Lane Collection.
