Spellbinders MAR-2021 CSOM ┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a set of “Spring” cards made using “Wonderful Spring” MARCH-2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit which pairs perfectly with this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit and Large Die of the Month Club both by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made them ↓

So therefore, for the first example, I started by placing inside my MISTI Stamping Tool an A2 standard size white card panel. Second, I went ahead to get the stamping done by creating a floral wreath using the floral stamp images included in Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit along with Detail Black Ink.

Thus, to create the wreath first, I placed the largest floral stamp image in the upper side of the card panel and then, I’ve gotten it stamp twice, as well as in the lower side of it. Next, I placed the medium floral stamp image in the right side of the card panel and then, I’ve gotten it stamp twice, as well as in the left side of it. Then, to close the wreath, I went ahead to finish the stamping by stamping the single floral stamp images on both sides of the card panel. Lastly, to finish the stamping over the card panel, I also went ahead to stamp a sentiment and one of the cute bunny stamp images included in the stamp set.

Lastly, right after I had finished the stamping on the card panel, I went ahead to quickly add a pop of color using a mix of hues from my Color Crush Watercolor Palette Pans. Nevertheless, as soon as I had finished the water-coloring and the card panel was completely dry, I went ahead to trim off the edges from the card panel and I’ve gotten it adhere with double-sided tape over a larger gold card panel. Last but not least, to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount it with craft foam tape over an A2 top folding white card base to add a bit of dimension and then, I embellished it gluing down with liquid glue here and there a mix of sequins and jewels to add a pop of shine.

As I mentioned at the beginning of today’s post this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit also perfectly pairs with this month’s Large Die of the Month Club as you can stamp, color and pop over one of the cute bunny stamp images creating a beautiful Spring Scene. Therefore, to create this card, I went ahead to stamp, watercolor in and fussy cut using a small pair of scissor one of the bunny’s stamp image. Next, I set it off aside and then, I went ahead to ink up an A2 white card panel using an ink blending brush and Sea Glass Ink.

That said, after I’ve gotten the ink blending done over the card panel, I went ahead to get a sentiment foiled with Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold and Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform on the upper right side of the card panel using, one of the glimmer plates included in this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club.

Nevertheless, once I had the foiling done, I went ahead to assemble the card by creating the Spring Scene using die-cutting pieces which I had previously die-cut using my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and dies included in this month’s Large Die of the Month Club. Last but not least, I embellished the card by gluing down with liquid glue here and there crystal sequins to add an extra pop of shine.

For the last example, I made a landscaping design card using the last bunny stamp image along with Spring Flowers Card Creator Small Die of the Month Club Kit to create the detailed and textured spring floral frame.

Therefore, I used the dies to die-cut each piece out of gold and green cardstock to create the Spring card creator frame. Next, I went ahead to get the pieces together glue down with liquid glue a bit offset to the left adding that way a gold shadow to it. Then, I glued down with liquid glue each layered piece to assemble the frame and last but not least, I’ve gotten the Spring frame glue down over an A2 side folding white card base. So, as soon as I had finished gluing down the frame, I went ahead to die-cut small flowers using the small flower dies included in the set along with different color cardstock and once I had finished die-cutting the small flowers, I went ahead to get them glue down with liquid glue over the spring card creator frame.

Nevertheless, to finish off the card, I went ahead to mount a layered Spring die-cutting word which I had previously die-cut out of gold cardstock using the Spring die word from the set. Also, I’ve gotten mounted with craft foam tape in the center of the card one of the small bunnies which I’ve also gotten stamped, water-coloring, and fussy cut out of white cardstock using a pair of scissor. Finally, to complete the Spring Greetings sentiment, I partially stamp one of the sentiments underneath the little bunny with embossing ink and then, I went ahead and get it heat embossing using gold embossing powder and a heat gun embossing tool and then, I glued down a few jewels to the center of the flowers to add a pop of shine.
