Spellbinders GOM AUG-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a clean and simple inspiration card with an extra “Matte Glimmering” look made using "Illustrated Floral & Solid" AUG-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club includes 4 Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and 3 coordinating dies + One Roll of Foil. Thus, as per usual with every glimmer hot foil kit, I started off by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. And, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform.

Thus, while the platform was heating up, I went ahead to cut out a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Matte Gold and, as soon as, the platform was ready to foil, I proceeded to get the hot foil stamping done over an A2 size white card panel using, the oval shape glimmer hot foil plate, to add the solid oval shape background.

Next, I went ahead to use the floral glimmer hot foil plate included in the kit to get it hot foil stamped with the same foil hue over another piece of white cardstock. Moving on, to finish the hot foil stamping process off, I went ahead to get the two sentiments included in the club kit also hot foil stamped over another piece of white cardstock.

That being said, after getting the hot foil stamping done, I proceeded to use the coordinating die for the floral cluster along with the coordinating dies for the sentiment to cut the hot foil stamped images out from the cardstock pieces. Then, to keep it simple, I used some of the dies included in Nestabilities Essential Rectangles Etched Dies to cut out the card frames from white cardstock and to add the dotted details to one of them as well. So, as soon as, I had finished cutting out the frames and adding the dotted details, I proceeded to layer them over an A2 size top folding white card base and then, to finish the card off, I added the floral cluster and the card sentiment to it by using pieces of Double Sided Adhesive Foam to raise some dimension.

Finally, as finishing touches, I went ahead to add an extra pop of sparkle to the card so, to do that, I used my Jewels Picker to glue down here and there with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue some of the Aura Opalescent Color Essentials Sequins. And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and simple inspiration card with an extra “Matte Glimmering” look featuring "Illustrated Floral & Solid" AUG-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders.
