Go For It - Encouragement┃Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an encouragement inspiration card made with a “Dainty Floral” look using: Go For It Foil, Go For It Stencil and Go For It Die for the floral focus point for the card. Also, Dainty Plaid Stencil to create the plaid background and a combination of Nested Hexagons Die and Essentials: Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the stitching details to the card frames and also to create the hexagon window. Last but certainly not least, PFS- Inks to ink up the card background and to add the pops of color to the background. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by getting the hot foil stamping done over a a large piece of white card so, to do that, I went ahead to use Go For It Foil along with Glimmer Hot Foil System and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine plus, a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura.

Next, as soon as, I had finished the hot foil stamping step, I proceeded to add the pops of colors to the flowers and leaves using a combination of the following inks: Ballet Slipper Ink, Bubble Gum Ink, Raspberry Bliss Ink, Ocean Breeze Ink, Mermaid Cove Ink, and Tidal Pond Ink for the flowers + Grassy Knoll Ink, Olive Ink, and Evergreen Ink for the leaves. Then, after getting the floral cluster inked up, I went ahead to use its coordinating Go For It Die to cut out the floral cluster from the cardstock.

Once, I had finished cutting the floral cluster out from the cardstock, I went ahead to repeat the die-cutting step but this time to cut out the floral cluster 2X from plain white cardstock to layer them all over to add dimension to it. From the same die set, I used the small die to cut out the sentiment from plain white cardstock 5X and then, I proceeded to use the coordinating sentiment stamp image included in the stamp set to get the sentiment stamped on one of them using pink hues to create an ombre effect.

Thus, after getting the stamping done for the card sentiment, I went ahead to create the plaid background over an A2 size white card panel using the stencils included in Dainty Plaid Stencil along with the same hues that I used to ink up the flowers. Soon after that I had finished inking up the card background, I went ahead to use the larger die included in Essentials: Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the stitching details and then, in a another white card panel, I used the smaller die included in the same set along with one of the dies included in Nested Hexagons Die to add the stitching details and to add the hexagon window as well. Lastly, I went ahead to get the backing of the inked card panel adhered to an A2 top folding white card base and then, I proceeded to get the backing of the detailed white card panel mounted over the inked card panel with craft foam adhesive to add dimension. Then, to finish the card off, I got the floral cluster adhered over the open window and last but not least, I glue down the card sentiment in the lower right side of the card.
