Spellbinders GOM & EOM MAR-2022┃Thanks Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a very clean and simple “Thanks” inspiration card made with an extra glimmering and texture touches look using a combination of “Glimmer Edge Roses” MAR-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and “Garden Path” MAR-2022 Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club it’s all about roses thus, it includes six glimmer hot plates and six cutting dies. Having that being said, as per usual with every glimmer hot foil kit, I started off by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. And, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform and then, I lined up the glimmer plates over it.

Then, while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Champagne and once the platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get the roses and leaves hot foil stamped over a large piece of white cardstock. Soon after getting the hot foil stamping done for them, I went ahead to use some of my alcohol markers to add pop of colors to the roses and leaves.

Next, after adding the pops of color to them, I went ahead to use the coordinating dies to cut out them from the cardstock. That said, after cutting them out, I went ahead to put them off to the side while I’ve proceeded to cut out the detailed white oval. Thus, for the detailed white oval, I used the second larger die from Picot Petite Ovals Etched Dies.

To continue the die-cutting process, I went ahead to use the Thanks layering die included in Yana's Layered Script Sentiments Etched Dies to cut out the card sentiment from white and glitter cardstock. Lastly, right after that I’ve had finished die-cutting it out, I went ahead to add a very delicate floral texture to a white card panel using this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month Club. Nevertheless, as soon as I completed that step, I went ahead to trim off 1/4” of an inch from each side of the textured card panel using my Comfort Paper Trimmer and then, I went ahead to get the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 top folding white card base.

Moving on, to keep it up with the card assembling, I went ahead to get the detailed white oval mounted over the card base using craft foam adhesives to add a little bit of dimension. Next, I created a cluster using the glimmering and die-cutting roses and leaves and then, I went ahead to placed it over to the left side of the card. Lastly, I went ahead to layer over the Thanks die-cutting sentiment and the, I’ve got it mounted to the card, also with craft foam adhesives to add even more dimension. Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of my favorite Rhinestones Blue Moonlight/Paradise Shine to add an extra pop of sparkle to the it.

And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and simple “Thanks” inspiration card with an extra glimmering and texture touches look using, a combination of “Glimmer Edge Roses” MAR-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and “Garden Path” MAR-2022 Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
