Spellbinders EOM SEP-2022┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you clean and simple, yet extra textured set of inspiration cards made with a “Fall” look showcasing: SEP-2022 "Scattered Fall" Embossing Folder of the Month Club by Spellbinders. Along with the embossing folder, I used some of the leaves dies included in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club plus, Mini Fall Blooms Etched Dies and Yana's Layered Script Sentiments Etched Dies to add up the decorative edges and die-cutting sentiment. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

Therefore, to add the texture to the card backgrounds, I went ahead to place a half sheet of an 11.0 x 8-1/2 inches inside this month’s "Scattered Fall" Embossing Folder of the Month Club and then, I proceeded to follow the instructions included in my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to add the dry embossing texture to the cardstock piece. Once, I had added the texture to it, I proceeded to use my Paper Trimmer to cut out two A2 size card panel from it. And, once I had that step completed, I used the paper trimmer once again but this time to trim off 1/4 of an inch from one of the card panels and then, I got the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Thus, after getting the card panel adhered its base, I went ahead to put it off to the side to add a watercolor touch to a large piece of watercolor paper using fall hues. That being said, after getting that step done and the water-coloring sheet was complete dry, I proceeded to use the stitched dies included in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club to cut out some leaves from it. Besides that, I used some of the dies included in Mini Fall Blooms Etched Dies and once, I had that done, I created two Fall floral cluster with all die-cutting pieces and then, I added them to the upper right and lower left corners of the card.

Lastly, after I had finished adding the floral clusters to it, I went ahead to add the layered and die-cutting Thanks sentiment as well. Then, as a finishing touch, I added some of the Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems to add the card a little extra touch of shine.

By the way, I shared this card on yesterday’s blog post however, I decided to add it on this post as well, to share an extra example since, I used the leftover textured card panel created with the embossing folder.

But, if you missed yesterday’s blog post, here is what I used to make this card; Essential Diamonds Etched Dies to create the diamond shape and one of the sentiments included in this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club. Also, I used Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month Club to create the Fall leafy frame.

And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and simple, yet extra textured set of inspiration cards with a “Fall” look showcasing: SEP-2022 "Scattered Fall" Embossing Folder of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
