Spellbinders DOMAPG JUN-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you an extra dimensional inspiration project made with a “Wedding Theme” and with a 3D shaped look using "Pop Up 3D Vignette Road Trip" JUN-2022 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month includes twenty-six cutting dies that add up a vignette or 3D effect when using each die to create this fabulous car looking project. Thus, I went ahead to line up the larger die included in the set over a large piece of Teal Topaz cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out with the same die the card front and back.

Next, I went ahead to use the other dies to cut out the windshield, grill base and two side vignette from the same-colored cardstock. Also, I used the dies to cut out the back seat, the three vignette crossbars, the dashboard, and one of the spare tire layers from white cardstock. Then, I used the dies to cut out the grill insert, bumper and layer pieces, one of the spare tire layers and one of the sign layers, too. Plus, the front and rear lights and some of the decorative pieces from gold cardstock.

Also, I used the rest of the dies to cut out the tires, the last spare tire layer, and the spare tire sign layer from black cardstock. As for the lights inserts, I used white and red cardstock. Having that said, I went ahead to glue down each piece to their correspondent layers and then, I proceeded to get the car assembling started.

Thus, for the car assembling, I went ahead to glue down the layering pieces to the car front and back. Next, I went ahead to add the three vignette crossbars to the two-side vignettes and then, I went ahead to get the sides of it gluing down to the car front and back pieces just as, shown in the image above.

Once, I had gotten finished gluing down the side vignettes to it, I went ahead to check if the pop-up effect worked perfectly fine to the left side and then to the right side as well.

Therefore, right after that I had checked that both sides of the pop-up effect worked perfectly fine, I proceeded to put the car aside to get the die-cutting process done for the bride and groom.

So, for the bride and groom, I went ahead to use the dies included in the kit to cut out their bodies from Kraft cardstock and then, their clothes from white and black cardstock. As for their hairs, I used brown cardstock and for the bride bouquet, I used green and white cardstock along with Kraft cardstock.

Moving on, as soon as, I had gotten finished cutting all pieces out from the cardstock pieces, I have gone ahead to get the bride and groom assembled and then, I got them glue down to the car just as, shown in the image above.

Here in the image above, you can take a side view for how they look like inside the car. Also, as this is basically a 360 view, I had to decorate their backs as well.

So, to do that, I went ahead to add the bride’s veil; a veil which by the way, I had gotten created using a piece of translucent vellum for a translucent and frosted look. Also, I added the back car seat and the floral bouquet to her hand. Lastly, I got mounted the spare tire to the car and then, I got it embellished by gluing down the spare tire sign and by gluing down here and there some of the die-cutting flowers. Last but certainly not least to finish this project off, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down some gold jewels to the center of each flower, adding that way to them a cute touch of sparkle.
NOTE: Because, of the dimension and size from this project, I would like to mention that it fits inside of an A6 size envelope however, if you prefer not to add the pop-up effect and use only the car front or back, it does perfectly fit on an A2 size card base when using it in a landscaping design.

And, with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this extra dimensional inspiration project with a “Wedding Theme” and with a 3D shaped look using "Pop Up 3D Vignette Road Trip" JUN-2022 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month by Spellbinders.
