Spellbinders DOM JUN-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an encouragement inspiration card with a “Intricate & Citrus” look made showcasing the latest: JUN-2022 "Stylized Border Trio" Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit includes 9 cutting dies. Having that said, to create the decorative borders, I went ahead to line up the larger die included in the set over a large piece of heavy weight white cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the intricate die-cutting from it.

Next, right after that I had finished die-cutting it, I went ahead to repeat once again the same step to cut out a second intricate die-cutting from another piece of white cardstock. Then, to add some dimension to the die-cutting pieces, I went ahead to get cut out another two pieces and then, I got them gluing down over the other two which I had previously cut out using liquid glue for more precision. Thus, as soon as, I had that step completed, I went ahead to put them aside to cut out the solid borders from white cardstock as well for a white-on-white look.

As, for the solid borders, I went ahead to trim down two small pieces of white cardstock to W 4/-1/4: x H 1-3/4” inches and then, I use the coordinating die to cut out decorative edge from one side on each piece. Therefore, as soon as, I had finished doing that; I proceeded to get glue down the intricate die-cutting pieces over them and then, I got them gluing down over an A2 size white card panel creating that way, an intricate white-on-white die-cutting effect on both ends of the front card panel.

Moving on, I went ahead to get the card assembling started by getting the backing of the card panel adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Next, I got the front card panel embellished using the lemon cluster that I had created previously using the dies included in Lemon Zest Etched Dies set. Lastly, I added the card sentiment on the left side of the card; a card sentiment which, I created using one of the glimmering plates and its coordinating die both included in this months’ Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club.

Finally, as finishing touches, I went ahead to add an extra pop of sparkle to the card so, to do that, I used my Jewels Picker to glue down here and there with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue a combination of Jewels: Sunshine and other jewels from my stash. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this encouragement inspiration card with a “Intricate & Citrus” look showcasing the latest: JUN-2022 "Stylized Border Trio" Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
