Spellbinders CSOM + CDOM MAR-2022┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a set of “Spring Season” inspiration greeting cards made with a sweet and gnomie look using: “Spring Gnomes” MAR-2022 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club. Along with this month’s Small Die of the Month Club, Large Die of the Month Club, Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club, and Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made them ↓

Therefore, for the first example, I used the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club only. So, to make it first, I went ahead to place over a large piece of white cardstock inside the MISTI Stamp Tool and then, I proceeded to place over it, all stamp images including in the stamp set. Once, I had that step completed, I proceeded to get the images stamped using VersaMark Ink Pad and then, I repeated this step twice to double up each image. Then, as soon as I’ve had finished the stamping, I quickly went ahead to add some gold embossing powder to them and then, I used my Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder up.

Once, I had the heat embossing process done, I proceeded to use some alcohol markers to add pop of colors to each image and then, I used their coordinating dies to cut them out from the cardstock using my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Thus, once I’ve had finished doing the die-cutting process, I’ve gone ahead to put them off to the side while, I’ve gone ahead to trim down a smaller white card panel using my Comfort Paper Trimmer to H 5.0” x W 3-3/4”inches. Next, I went ahead to get the backing of the card panel mounted with craft foam adhesive to an A2 side folding white card base.

Lastly, for the card assembling, I went ahead to place the card base in a landscaping form and then, I’ve got mounted with square foam adhesives two of the gnomes just as you see them in the image above. The stamp includes a tiny banner, so I went ahead to add it as well by getting it glue down to the gnomes hands. Then, I glued down the large flower image behind the banner and the smaller flower image to the girl’s hat. Having that said, I went ahead to create a dimensional card sentiment by layering over the white and gold die-cutting sentiments along with the actual stamped sentiment then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the Rhinestones: Crystal to add an extra pop of sparkle to it!

For the next example, I used the roses and leaves included in this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and, you can → CLICK HERE to check out how, I did the glimmer hot foil stamping for them as, I used the exact same method for these except for the hues as these are more vibrant.

Therefore, after getting the hot foil stamping, adding pops of colors to them, and die-cutting the roses and leaves out from the cardstock, I went ahead to put them off to the side so, I could go ahead to add texture to an A2 size white card panel using this month’s Embossing Folder of the Month Club which, its perfect to add the finish look for any Spring greeting card. Don’t you think!? Anyway, to keep going, after adding the texture to the card panel with the embossing folder, I went ahead to trim 1/4 of an inch from each side of it and then, I’ve got its backing mounted with craft foam adhesive to add up some dimension over an A2 side folding white card base.

Moving on, I went ahead to place the card base on a landscaping form and then, I proceeded to glue down the roses and leaves in a cluster shape in the lower left corner of the card base. Next, I used two of the sentiments including in the stamp set to create the dimensional Happy Spring sentiment. A sentiment which by the way, that I created in the same way as I did for the previous example. Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to get glue down here and there some of the Rhinestones: Crystal for an extra sparkling finish look.

For the third and final example, I made an airy Easter card, so to do that, I went ahead to ink up a white card panel using an ink blending brush along with Sea Glass ink but concentrating the inking on the upper side of the card panel. Next, I used the cloud dies including in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club to cut out some clouds out of white cardstock.

Thus, after getting the card panel inked up, I went ahead to trim off 1/4of an inch from each side of it and then, I got the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 top folding white card base. Therefore, after getting the panel adhered to the card base, I went ahead to get the last two gnomes mounted on the lower side of the card and then, I proceeded to get them embellished.

As, for the embellishments, I used the bunny ears and balloon created by using the stamp and coordinating dies along with the clouds which, I got cut out from the white cardstock. To get them glue down over the card, I used a combination of liquid glue and square foam adhesive to add dimension to them. Lastly, I went ahead to glue down a tiny white pop-pom over the girl’s hat and to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the crystals that I added to the previous examples to add it a sparkling touch as well.

And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made set of “Spring Season” inspiration greeting cards with a sweet and gnomie look using: “Spring Gnomes” MAR-2022 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
