Happy Sunday Friends! It’s time to share with you the cards that, I’ve made featuring the new; January 2020 Small Die of the Month called “Bold Love” by Spellbinders This die set its so much fun that, I’m sure that you will love it as much as I do! So, without further ado, please keep on reading below ↓

For the first card, I created a 4 1/2’’ x 4 1/2’’ square card since this die fits perfectly on this card size as, you can see in the picture above. So, to begin with, I started by creating the card base out white card stock. Once, the card base was done, I set it aside while I created the background for the card. To create the background for the card, I stamped over a white card panel with Embossing Ink the Just Lines Background Stamp and, I gold heat embossed it as usual with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder. Soon after the heat embossing, I set the card panel aside and, I proceeded to the fun part which was die-cutting.

For the die-cutting part first, I ran through the die-cutting machine the largest die from the set to die-cut it 2X out of gold card stock and out of white card stock. Once, both die-cuttings were done, I stacked them both off sets creating that way not just a little dimension but, also a slightly gold shadow as, you can see in the picture above. By the way, this die set also includes the letters that create the LOVE word and tiny dies that, die-cut the greenery and the flowers as well as the detail for the O which, by the way, I used on the largest white die-cutting. To die-cut the letters, I used Blush card stock as well as white Fun Foam because, I wanted to add dimension once they were adhered. As, for the greenery and the flowers, I used Peach and Light Green card stock. So, after I was done die-cutting the small elements and letters, I adhered each of them to the largest with liquid glue. Lastly, I trimmed the edges off from the gold heat embossed background and, I adhered the backing of it with double-sided tape to the card base. To finish the card off, I adhered the backing of the layered die-cutting and the first card was done.

For the second card, I repeated exactly the same steps as the previous example as, for the heat embossing and the die-cutting. However, as you can see on the picture above, for this example, I decided to create a standard A2 size card not only that but, I also adhered the white die-cutting off set to the left side creating that way the gold shadow in the opposite side as the previous example other than that everything else was adhered in the same way as I did for the first card.

To add a touch of sparkle, I decided to adhere Jewels in the center of each flower. I also, decided to add a sub-sentiment in the center of each LOVE word as you can see above. So, that’s all for today friends, I hope that, these cards featuring the new; January 2020 Small Die of the Month by Spellbinders inspire you to give them a try!
