Spellbinders Be Bold Color Block Congrats┃Mini Slimline Inspiration Card

Happy Saturday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a very quick and simple mini slimline “Congrats” inspiration card made showcasing Be Bold Color Block Congrats Etched Dies from the latest, Be Bold Collection by Spellbinders. A die, which it’s perfect to make a mini slimline card design. Along with this die, I’ve used Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies as well to add the floral touch to it. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

To begin with, I went ahead to use the largest die including in Be Bold Color Block Congrats Etched Dies to create a dry embossing slimline panel to use it as a guide for the die-cutting color block letters. This color block die it’s perfect to create an array of color combinations designs by changing the colors of each die-cutting letters.

Even though, I said it’s perfect to create colorful designs, I decided to go for a very clean and simple look, so I went ahead to line up the die over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I proceeded to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut it out four times the letters from it and once out of glitter cardstock. Then, as simple as that, after I had finished off the die-cutting process, I went ahead to layer the white letter up and then, I created a glittery shadow underneath them using the glittery die-cutting words.

Next, after getting them layer over, I went ahead to them glue down over the dry embossing card panel which I created at the beginning of the post. Once, I had that done, I went ahead to mount the mini slimline size card panel over a mini slimline white card base and then, I proceeded to get the card embellishment completed.

As for the card embellishments, I went ahead to use the smaller die including in the same set to create the white die-cutting YAY! sub-sentiment. Also, I used Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies to create the floral touches. And, last but not least, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some crystal-clear jewels and clear sequins to add a pop of shine to the card.

And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this quick and simple mini slimline “Congrats” inspiration card showcasing Be Bold Color Block Congrats Etched Dies from the latest, Be Bold Collection by Spellbinders.
