Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate, Stencil & Die┃Inspiration Card

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an intricate/dimensional and oh, so glimmering “Butterflies Slimline” inspiration card made using, Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate, Small Butterflies Layering Stencil Set and Small Butterflies Die from the latest JUNE-2021 Release by Pinkfresh Studio along with this amazing set, I’ve also used PFS- Inks to add a pop of color to the hot foiling stamped butterflies, Leafy Branch Die for the leafy texture touch + Essentials Slimline Envelope Die Set and Keeping It Real: 12 x 12 Paper Pack to create the card envelope. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by quickly following the foiling process steps from my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine so, I could get the foil stamping process done using Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate, an A2 size Hammermill Cardstock 80 lb - 100 Bright card panel + a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass.

Having that said, as soon as I had finished the hot foil stamping process, I went ahead to place down the hot foil stamped card panel over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch to get the layered stenciling started. Thus, for the layering stencil process, I used Small Butterflies Layering Stencil Set which, happens to be its coordinating stencil set and along with the stencil set, I’ve use as well Ocean Breeze Ink, Aquamarine Ink, Mermaid Cove Ink and Tidal Pond Ink to color the butterflies in.

Moving on, right after that I had finished adding the color to the butterflies, I went ahead to line up over the entire card panel Small Butterflies Die which is, its coordinating die. And, once I had that step done, I went ahead to run them though the die-cut machine to get the previously hot foil stamped and colored die-cutting butterflies out of the card panel. So, as soon as I’ve gotten them cut out of the cardstock, I’ve gone ahead to set them off aside so I could create the card base.

Thus, for the card base and card background panel, I went ahead to trim off a large white cardstock using my Comfort Paper Trimmer to H 8-1/4” x W 3-3/8” inches, and then I’ve got the backing of it mounted to a slimline white card base with craft foam adhesive. Then, after adding a bit of dimension between the card panel and card base. I’ve gone ahead to add the leafy texture to it as well so, to do that, I lined up the Leafy Branch Die over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I’ve gotten a few die-cutting branches cut of it. Once, I had that step done, I went ahead to glue down with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue 3 die-cutting branches over the card panel and then, I went ahead to finish the assembling for the card off by gluing down here and there some of the die-cutting butterflies.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to add a sentiment, which I’ve had previously hot foil stamped and die-cut out of a piece of white cardstock using Celebrating You Hot Foil Plate and Celebrating You Die. Then, as a finishing touch I went ahead to glue down here and there using liquid glue some of the Metallic Pearls -Gold to add an extra pop of shine. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this intricate/dimensional and oh, so glimmering “Butterflies Slimline” inspiration card.
