Rainbow Floral Washi & Die┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a very colorful set of “Encouragement” inspiration cards made with a rainbow and floral look using: Rainbow Floral Washi and Rainbow Floral Washi Die by Pinkfresh Studio. Along with this colorful suite products, I’ve used Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Squares Die Set and Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the diagonal stitching touch. Also, Leafy Branch Die and Curvy Foliage Die to add an extra subtle greenery touch to one of the cards. And lastly, Nested Diamonds Die to add the diamond shape and Metallic Pearls -Gold to add a pop of sparkle. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

Therefore, I started off by getting the die-cutting process for the die cut shapes from the washi tape so to do that, I went ahead to unroll the Rainbow Floral Washi then, to tape it down over a large piece of white cardstock and the, to use its coordinating Rainbow Floral Washi Die, to die-cut the images out from the cardstock in the same way, as I’ve have done it before with all Pinkfresh Studio Washi-tape Rolls. By the way, I repeated this step three times to get a few floral die cut shapes because, I was planning on creating a whole front card panel with the single floral shapes.

Thus, as soon as, I’ve had finished the die-cutting process, I went ahead to put the floral images off to the side and then, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the large and small dies included in Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Squares Die Set to add the diagonal stitching details to them and, to cut the frames out from the cardstock. Once, I’ve had finished adding the stitching details to the front card panels, I went ahead to get the backing of the large card panel mounted with craft foam adhesive over a 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 inches white card base. And then, I repeated the same process for the smaller front card panel as well.

Having that said, as soon as, I’ve had finished adding dimension to the front card panels, I went ahead to get the floral wreath mounted over the front card panel, using square foam adhesives to add a little more dimension. Then, to add even more dimension… I used a combination of white die-cutting white greenery along with some of the individual die-cutting floral shapes from the washi. As for the delicate white die-cutting greenery, I used both Leafy Branch Die and Curvy Foliage Die. Lastly, right after that I’ve had finished mounting the small floral cluster created by the small pieces, I went ahead to finish the card off by adding the card sentiment. A sentiments which, I had gotten previously stamped and gold heat emboss over a piece of white cardstock using: one of the card sentiments included in Rainbow Floral Washi Stamp + Embossing Powder Tool, VersaMark Ink Pad, Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded, and Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool for the heat embossing process.

Moving on, for the second example, I created a floral pattern over the whole front card panel using the individual floral die cut shapes created by the washi and its coordinating die. So, to add dimension to them, I went ahead to get each floral images mounted over a white card panel using square foam adhesives. Having that said, as soon as, I had gotten finished creating the pattern over the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to trim off the excess from its edges and then, I got the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 top folding white card base.

So, right after getting the front card panel adhered to the card base, I went ahead to add the diagonal stitching frame to the card as well. Therefore, to do that, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the two larger dies included in Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set and then, I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Once, I had finished cutting the frame out from the cardstock, I went ahead to get its backing adhered with narrow craft foam adhesive to add a little more dimension to the card layout. Next, to add the geometrical look to the card, I went ahead to get the backing of two white die-cutting diamond shapes adhered to the card. Diamond die-cutting shapes, that I’ve had left over from a previous project. By the way, to create them, I used Nested Diamonds Die. Nevertheless, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get the card sentiment mounted over the center of the card. A sentiment also created using one of the card sentiments from the same stamp.

Finally, to add an extra pop of sparkle to the cards, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls -Gold. Thus, in the image above, you can see the final look for both cards.
