Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating its November 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil & Hot Foil Release with a fabulous blog hop. With that being said, today I’d like to share with you a holiday card inspiration with a “Floral and Hot Foil Stamped” look showcasing: the just-released Phrase-Builder: Happy Foil which works perfectly with previously released Phrase Builder: Die Set. Besides using this set, I have also used You’re The Best Stamp, You’re The Best Die, and You’re The Best Stencil for the floral touch and lastly, Quadrant Backdrop Hot Foil to add the hot foil stamped background to the card. So, without further ado let me share how I made it ↓
Therefore, for the hot foil stamping step, I went ahead to use the plates included in Phrase-Builder: Happy Foil along with the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine plus, pieces of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura to get each phrase hot foil stamped over pieces of white cardstock. Next, to continue with the hot foil stamping process, I used Quadrant Backdrop Hot Foil along with the same foil hue to get an A2 size white card background hot foil stamped.
Next, right after that, I had finished the hot foil stamping process, I have gone ahead to use the coordinating dies included in Phrase Builder: Die Set to die-cut the words out of the cardstock and then, I also used the larger die included in Essentials: Stitched Rectangles Die Set to cut out the card background and also to add the stitched edge to it. Once, I had that done, I went ahead to put the die-cutting pieces aside to continue with the process for the floral touch, to do that, I used white cardstock, You’re The Best Stamp, You’re The Best Stencil and You’re The Best Die as well to cut out the floral clusters from the cardstock. Also, I used Magic Powder Bag, Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink, Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded, and Wow Dual Speed Heat Tool for the stamping and heat embossing process for the floral clusters. Besides the heat embossing, I used Ballet Slipper Ink, Coral Reef Ink, Berrylicious Ink, Marigold Ink, Mint Ink, and Evergreen Ink to ink up the stamped florals.
Moving on, as soon as, I had finished the process for the floral touch, I went ahead to get the backing of the card background adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Next, I went ahead to get the floral clusters glued down over the card background, and lastly, I got the words mounted over the card. By the way, I used craft foam as well for the die-cutting words to add an extra dimension to them. Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls: Sparkling Champagne adding that way and an extra touch of shine to the card.
