Dreamy Florals Encouragement┃Card Inspiration

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, will share with you an airy inspiration card made with an “Encouragement & Floral” look using the just released: Dreamy Florals Hot Foil, Dreamy Florals Stencil, Dreamy Florals Die, and Dreamy Florals Stamp from the latest November-2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil & Hot Foil Release by Pinkfresh Studio. Along with this beautiful set, I’ve also used Modern Design Blocks Hot Foil and Solid Hot Foil Plate for the reverse hot foil step for the card background, and lastly, Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set and Nested Circles Die to add the delicate diagonal stitched edge and the circle window over the front card panel. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started by getting the hot foil stamping done, so to do that, I went ahead to use the Modern Design Blocks Hot Foil plate along with the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine plus, white cardstock and a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura. Next, as soon as I had finished the hot foil stamping, I also went ahead to use the Solid Hot Foil Plate to do the reverse hot foil stamping because I wanted to use the solid background as the card background.

Thus, after getting the original and reverse hot foil stamping steps for the card background, I kept going with the hot foil stamping but, this time for the florals. That being said, to do that, I used Dreamy Florals Hot Foil plate, white cardstock, and the same foil hue to get the hot foil stamping step over the white cardstock. Afterward, I went ahead to use each stencil included in Dreamy Florals Stencil along with some ink blending brushes and the following color in combination: Peach Fuzz Ink, Apricot Ink, Clementine Ink, Persimmon Ink, Marigold Ink, Grassy Knoll Ink, and Olive Ink.

Moving on, after I had finished the layered stenciling over the hot foil stamped florals, I went ahead to use the Dreamy Florals Die to cut out the floral clusters from the cardstock, and then I continued the die-cutting process for the front card panel. Thus, to do that, I went ahead to line up over an A2 size white card panel the larger die included in Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to cut out the front card panel from it and also to add the stitched details to its edges. Next, I used the third larger die included in the Nested Circles Die, and then I went ahead to line it up over the card panel to cut out the circled window over the upper side of it. Once, after having those steps completed, I went ahead to get the card assembled.

Subsequently, I went ahead to trim down the solid hot foil stamped background using Paper Trimmer, and then I got the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Next, I used narrow pieces of craft foam adhesive to get the decorative frame mounted over the hot foil-stamped background. Lastly, I went ahead to get the open window embellished with the die-cutting floral clusters (as shown in the image above), and to finish the card off, I added the card sentiment over the lower right corner. By the way for the card sentiment, I used one of the sentiments included in the Dreamy Florals Stamp along with its coordinating die included in the die set. Plus, Magic Powder Bag, Embossing Ink, Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded, and Wow Dual Speed Heat Tool to complete the heat embossing step for the sentiment.

Nevertheless, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of the Glitter Drops: Gold to add the card a little extra touch of sparkle. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this airy inspiration card made with an “Encouragement & Floral” look using some of the products including November-2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil & Hot Foil Release by Pinkfresh Studio.
