PFS Slim Diagonal Stripes┃Sending Good Vibes Inspiration Card

PFS Slim Diagonal Stripes┃Sending Good Vibes Inspiration Card

Happy Saturday, friends! Loving slimline cards? If so, yay because today I’ll be sharing with you how I’ve made this quick “Sending Good Vibes” card using the just released; Slim Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die and Slim Diagonal Stripes Die by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump to the step by step ↓

To begin with, I started by creating the card base out heavy weight white cardstock. To do that, I trimmed down with the paper trimmer an 8’’x11’’cardstock sheet to H 8-5/8’’x W 7-1/4’’ then, I transfer the cardstock to my scoring board, and I scored a line at 3-5/8’’inch mark.

Once the scoring line was finish, I folded the card base in half, and I set it aside. Meanwhile, I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine a white card panel and a Tim Pail which is basically a very light gray color. By the way both card panel measured H 8-3/4’’x W 3-3/4’’ inches.

Therefore, to create this plaid design for the card panel; I ran through the die-cutting machine the Tim Pail card panel along with the Slim Diagonal Stripes Die. Then, I ran through the die-cutting machine white card panel along with the Slim Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die. You can use only one die or the other to create this look, I used both because I wanted to add the fancy look from the fancy diagonal stripes.

So, after finishing the die-cutting process for the card panels, I carefully glued down with liquid glue both panels, and right afterwards I adhered the plaid card panel down to the white card base. (as shown in the image above) As for the stamping, I placed a white card panel inside my stamping tool then, I used the Layered Bouquet Stamp to stamp the bouquet with the following ink colors; Olive, Fresh Pear, Coral Reef and Passion Fruit. Also, I used the Layered Bouquet Die which happens to be its coordinated die to die-cut the bouquet out the white cardstock.

At this point, I only needed a sentiment to complete the card so, to create the sentiment, I ran through the die-cutting machine 3 dies from the Phrase Builder: Sending Die Set to die-cut them 3X out white cardstock and 1X out gold cardstock. Although these dies have a shadow layer, I decided to skip it by only de-cutting their top layers. Lastly, after having all die-cutting pieces done, I stacked them all, and I started the assembling for the card.

To finish the card off first; I mounted the bouquet with foam square adhesives for dimension. Then, I glued down with liquid glue the 3 die-cutting words which made the “Sending good vibes” sentiment. Last but not least, I glued down a bow which I created out of large piece of Metallic Thread and to add even more shine I glued down with liquid glue 3 set of 3 pink jewels from my Essentials: Jewels Mix. With that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created today’s “Sending good vibes” slimline card. But most of all, I hope this card inspires you to give it a try!
