Nested Chevron Die┃Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share with you this clean and simple yet, very dimensional “Floral” card made with Essentials: Nested-Chevron Die and Frame builder: Botanical triangle Die Set by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

To begin with, I’ve started by lining up over a large piece of white cardstock the Essentials: Nested-Chevron Die. Once, I’ve had them both lined up, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the geometrical frame.

Therefore, once I’ve had finished die-cutting the geometrical frame, I carefully kept the pieces together as I was going to adhere them to an A2 top folding white card base however, to do that I’ve started by adding a bit of dimension so, I’ve adhered over the card base with craft foam tape the 2 largest pieces which are the ones that you can see from corner to corner in the image above.

Thus, I kept adhering them but to create a fun dimensional look, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue the next 2 in the upper side as well as the lower side, and so on and so forth I kept adhering them with craft foam tape and liquid glue until I had gotten the whole die-cutting frame adhered to the card base.

Thus, after I had finished adhering each piece, I went ahead to set the card base off to the side. Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the 2 dies from Frame builder: Botanical triangle Die Set and then after I had them line up, I went ahead to run them thru my die-cutting machine to die-cut the botanical frame out of the white cardstock. Once, I had that done I went ahead to get the botanical frame glue down to the card. At first, I thought about just leaving it as is but, I decided to add a touch of leafy vibe so to do that, I went ahead to die-cut out of white cardstock the leafy branch using Leafy Branch Die which right afterwards I ended up gluing down with liquid glue on the left side of the botanical frame.

Lastly, I went ahead to mount with foam square adhesives one of the flowers as well as a cluster of leaves to add a simple floral touch to the botanical vibe. By the way both die cut shapes are included in Celebrate: Ephemera Pack. Moving on, I mounted a sentiment which I’ve had previously stamp and heat emboss over a strip of white cardstock using one of the sentiments from Charming Floral Wreath Stamp Set and WOW! Metallic Gold Rich and to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue some pink jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a touch of shine. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and simple yet, very dimensional “Floral” card.
