For the first example, I started by water-coloring a Strathmore Watercolor Card Panel with the a soft Pinky/Peach-Orange/Yellowish hues that, I mixed using my Mungyo 48 Watercolor Set. Once the water-coloring was the way that I wanted it, I added a few gold splatter using my Multi-Surface Craft Yellow Metallic Gold Paint. Soon after the splattering, I set the card panel aside to let it dry out. In the meanwhile, I ran through the die-cutting machine the largest die from the Stitched Shaker Window Dies to die-cut the frame out of white cardstock for the shaker card. Right after that, I placed on the stamping tool a piece of acetate larger enough for the shaker window and I treated with lots of Embossing Powder Tool because, I was going to heat embossing the Love You sentiment from the Stacked Love You Stamp Set with Metallic Brass Embossing Powder.

As, you can see in the picture above the embossing wasn’t perfect and, I could had re-heat embossed it but, I decided to leave it as is because, I kind of liked the distress look once was over the water-colored background. So, after heat embossing over the acetate, I created 4 sticky surfaces to do that, I pushed down over a large piece of white cardstock the Embossing Ink Pad. Once, I had all 4 sticky surfaces, I added the embossing glitters to it and, I heat set them using the WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool until each of the glittery surfaces were completely melted. Lastly, after the heat embossing, I ran through the die-cutting machine each of the glittery surfaces along with one of the dies from the Confetti Hearts Makers Die to die-cut the hearts that I placed inside the shaker window. Finally, I adhered with strong double-sided tape the acetate to the back of the stitched frame then, I mixed the glittery hearts along with Crystal Confetti and I placed the mix over the water-colored card panel. To finish the card off, I foam mounted the frame and I trimmed the edges off from the card panel before, I adhered it double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base.

For the second example, I used the leftover die-cutting pieces from the glitter embossing. So, to die-cut the squares from the leftover pieces, I used one of the square dies from the Memory Box Square Basic Set. As, for the frames along with the first square die, I also used a second die smaller than the first one from the same set to die-cut the frames out of white cardstock.

Once, I had the die-cutting pieces done, I adhered the backing of each frame with liquid glue to each of the glittery squares. Right after that, I adhered each of the framed little squares as shown above to an A2 white card panel which, right afterwards I trimmed slightly smaller than the card base. Lastly, I ran through the die-cut machine the Fit to Be Tied Die and the Just Vines Die to die-cut them out of white cardstock. To finish the card panel off, I gold heat embossed in the right lower side of the card a sentiment from the Signed and Sealed with a Kiss Stamp Set and, I adhered the vine along with the bow die-cutting pieces as, you can see in the picture above.

To balance the shine, I decided to adhered a heart to the center of the bow as well as a few Crystal Confetti here and there for a touch of sparkle last but not least, I foam mounted the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base. With that being said, that’s all for today friends, I hope these Lots of Love glittery cards inspire you to give them and the “Love/Valentine’s Day” challenge a try!
