Heartfelt Thanks Stamp and Stencil┃Slimline Inspiration Card

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a colorful “Floral” slimline inspiration card made using, Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Set and Heartfelt Thanks Layering Stencil Set. Along with this fabulous floral set, I’ve also used Essentials: Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set to create the scalloped white frame. Essentials Slimline Envelope Die Set and Some Days: 12x12 Paper Pack to create the matching envelope. Jewels: Espresso from Essentials: Jewel Mix to embellish for the card embellishment. Thank You Die to die-cut the card sentiment and PFS- Inks to add the pop of color to the leaves and flowers. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by placing a large piece of Hammermill Cardstock 80 lb - 100 Bright over my Make Art - Stay-tion magnetic board and then, I went ahead to line up over stencil #1 from Heartfelt Thanks Layering Stencil Set to start the layered ink blending. Thus, as soon as I had them both line up, I went ahead to use some ink blending brushes to ink up the flowers and buds with Ballet Slipper Ink, Peach Fuzz Ink and Lemon Whip Ink.

Next, I removed the first stencil and then, I quickly lined up over the card panel stencil # 2 to ink up the leaves with Grassy Knoll Ink, so on and so forth, I continued the layered ink blending for the details for the flowers and buds using stencil #3 along with Sparkling Rose Ink, Coral Reef Ink and Sweet Mustard Ink. Stencil #4 along with Bubble Gum Ink, Passion Fruit Ink and Clementine Ink, And, last but not least, stencil #5 along with Olive Ink.

Thus, as soon as I’ve had finished the layered ink blending for the card panel, I went ahead to place the card panel inside my Memory MISTI to get the stamping done. So, for the stamping step, I went ahead to line up over the card panel the large floral stamp images from the coordinating Heartfelt Thanks Stamp Set and then, I’ve got the stamping step done by stamping the floral image twice with Detail Black Ink.

Moving on, as soon as I’ve had finished the outlined stamping for the floral image, I went ahead to trim off the edges down from the card panel using my Comfort Paper Trimmer and then, I went ahead to adhere down the backing of it with double-sided adhesive to a white slimline card base. So, after having the front background panel adhered to the card base, I went ahead to set it off aside. Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the largest die from Essentials: Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set and then, I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the scalloped frame out of it. Therefore, as soon as I had finished the die-cutting process, I went ahead to adhere down the outer white scalloped frame to the card using skinny pieces of craft foam and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to add a bit of dimension.

Lastly, after I had finished mounting the scalloped frame to the card base, I went ahead to glue down a layered and die-cutting Thank you sentiment, which I’ve had previously created out of white and black cardstock using Thank You Die (as you can see in the image above.) Regardless, that the floral front card panel was a bit busy and colorful, I finished the card off by adding a pop of sparkle by gluing down here and there some Jewels: Espresso which you can also find in Essentials: Jewel Mix set.

And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this colorful “Floral” slimline inspiration card
