Fancy Oval Frame Die┃Inspiration Card

Happy Saturday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share this quick clean and simple “Framed” floral card made with Fancy Oval Frame Die and Diagonal Stitched Plaid Die by Pinkfresh Studio from their newest November-2020 Essentials Die Release. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

To begin with, I’ve started by lining up over a large piece of white cardstock the Diagonal Stitched Plaid Die. Once, I’ve had them both lined up, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the frame and to add the stitching detail over the card panel.

Therefore, once I’ve had finished die-cutting and adding the stitching detail over the card panel, I went ahead to get it adhered with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base and then, right after that I went ahead to set the card base off to the side while I’ve gotten the die-cutting started for the frame.

Thus, for the frame I went ahead to line up the frame from Fancy Oval Frame Die over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them twice thru the die-cutting machine. Therefore, once I’ve had that step done, I went ahead to line up once again the frame die but this time over a patterned paper sheet. So, soon after that I’ve had finished die-cutting the frame out of the patterned paper, I went ahead to stack them all for a very dimensional look but , keeping one of the outer white frame on top and the inner patterned frame piece (as shown in the image above)
By the way, I’ve used a patterned paper sheet from Days of Splendor 6 x 6 Paper Pack.

Moving on, after I’ve finished putting together the frame, I went ahead to adhere it with double-sided tape to the card base. Lastly, as embellishments I went ahead to mount with square foam adhesives one of the floral ephemera on the left side of the frame. Next, I went ahead to glue down the dimensional hello die-cutting word which I’ve had previously die-cutting out of white and gold cardstock. By the way, for the embellishments, I’ve used Days of Splendor Floral Ephemera Pack and Phrase Builder - Hello Die Set for the die-cutting word. As well as, Simply Sentiments - Hello Stamp Set which I’ve used to stamp and to heat emboss the sub-sentiment over a strip of white cardstock using embossing ink and gold embossing powder.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to adhere some enamel dots using Days of Splendor Self Adhesive Enamel Dots to compliment the colors from the patterned paper and floral ephemera piece.
