Blanket Stitched & Folk Edge Square Dies┃Encouragement Inspiration Card

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a quick clean and simple with foil touches “Encouragement” square inspiration card made with a combination of Blanket Stitched Square Die Set and Essentials: Folk Edge Square Die Set by Pinkfresh Studio. Along with those sets, I used Garden Wreath Die Set to add the delicate greenery and Take Pride Stamp Set for the card sentiment. Plus, Essentials: Crystal Mix and Crushed Glass with Gold Foil Leaf Flakes to add pops of sparkles. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by cutting off the die-cut pieces, so to do that, I went ahead to line up the largest die including Blanket Stitched Square Die Set over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to add the blanket stitching details to the edge and to cut out the larger square card panel out of the cardstock.

Next, I went ahead to line up over another piece of white cardstock the medium size square die including in Essentials: Folk Edge Square Die Set and then, I ran them through the die cut machine. Lastly, I went ahead to line up over another piece of white cardstock the medium die including Blanket Stitched Square Die Set. And, at the same time, I inserted the smaller die to the medium size die including in the same set to not only add up the stitching details but to cut out a frame as well.

To continuing with the die-cutting process, I went ahead to line up some of the dies including in Garden Wreath Die Set to cut out some greenery out of white cardstock. Thus, as soon as I had finished cutting all pieces, I went ahead first to add the foil touches to the greenery, so to do that, I went ahead to use an old paint brush to add little brush strokes of tacky glue to the greenery. Next, I went ahead to add pieces of Rose Gold Leaf Flakes to the adhesive to get adhered the foil to the greenery and once I had that step complete, I went ahead to get the card assembling started. By the way, I used the rose gold leaf flakes from Crushed Glass with Gold Foil Leaf Flakes set.

Moving on, for the card assembling I went ahead to get the backing of the largest card panels to a 4-1/4” x 4-1/4” inches white card base. Next, I’ve got mounted with craft foam the medium size white card panel over the front panel. Lastly, I’ve got the smaller panel out of all adhered in the center of the card in a diamond shape way, but before got it adhered, I’ve gone ahead to get the card sentiment stamped and heat embossing with rose gold embossing powder. As, for the card sentiment, I used one of the sentiments including in Take Pride Stamp Set. Having that said, I went ahead to add more dimension to the card by mounting with craft foam adhesive the medium size frame in a diamond shape as well.

Lastly, I’ve glued down the greenery (as shown in the image above) and then, I finished the card off by gluing down here and there some Essentials: Crystal Mix in clear to add an extra pop of shine to the card. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this quick clean and simple with foil touches “Encouragement” square inspiration card using products by Pinkfresh Studio.
